Yes, the Bradley Manning verdict was fair, because he committed terrible acts that were contrary to the security of the United States. By being a member of the army, Bradley Manning had a duty to follow what his commander told him to do. What he did was an act of defiance to the country and to his superiors. His punishment was fair.
Maybe he should have been awarded a medal instead because he was only revealing to the public things that they should have known and that the government should not be trying to hide in the first place. He at the very least should not have been given that long of a sentence.
