  • All together, yes

Unfair rules, rights, and behaviors against people happens often in our world. However, the holocaust was the world's most largely populated organized KILLING (to my knowledge). Despite the fact that it did not last long, compared to other events like slavery, the number of people who were killed was huge. No other event has had such an enormous organized death toll, of a certain group of people before.

  • Yes I think it was...

It's definitely someone's personally opinion but I definitely think this was the worst. I'm not an expert on all the genocides in history but I have never heard one quite like the Holocaust. Not only were Jews killed but others that were considered "different" than your average German. It wasn't like all of them were automatically killed off either. They were tortured, experimented on, and were given a slow death. They would cut people up for experiments and torture one twin to see if it hurt the other. They were put in small rooms so crowded that they couldn't move and had to use the restroom right where they stood. They were taken to take a shower but eventually realize they were put in gas chambers instead. The holocaust was brutal and the torture that they were put through just doesn't compare in my opinion.

  • It definitely is!

Yes, a crime is a crime, period! Many other terrible genocides have happened in human history, eg: Slave trade, Pol Pot, Indian Partition, Racial segregation, Genocide in Rwanda etc, all of which were extremely brutal and un-human. YET, looking at the end result, more people were killed than ever! It was gruesome, illogical and HUGE! Biggest crime in human history!

  • Yes, it is...

The German Nazis did not just kill one type of people. They also killed all Gypsies, Disabled people, Homo-sexuals AND JEWS. So they did not just stick to killing one race and rather killed their own as well. People knew about what they were doing and didn't stop them, wheras other genocides were stopped while it was still taking place. It was too late when people found out because so many had already died...

  • Of course it is.

Because who would ever do this to people. It was such a horrific crime to put such innocent people through. They never did anything wrong, they can't help that they are Jewish, its who they are. It would be so painful to go through what they went through. It is just not right

  • Yes it is!

I think it was the worst genocide because many people, especially the Jews, were killed for no particular reason. People had to hide undergrounds to survive. But also I think it wasn't the worst becuase the African Genocide was pretty bad too. Africans were just killed as they walked down the street.

  • Yes, but not by numbers.

I think that the way in which the Holocaust was carried out, the way the rest of the world turned a blind eye for so long, and the number of different groups that were targeted makes it one of the (if not THE) worst genocide in history. It wasn't just Jewish people; it was Romani, homosexuals, atheists, handicapped persons, and anyone else who didn't fit with Hitler's view of the perfect race. While the total number of people killed might be lower than other examples of genocide, the situation itself makes the Holocaust the worst.

  • Yes, But You Can't Compare On This Subject

All genocides are evil blights on the history book. It sort of does an injustice to compare between the ones in Rwanda, Armenia, Europe, or in America historically with the Native Americans. However, the Jewish genocide is the worst in terms of how intricately it was organized and executed by German fascists.

  • Will Haunt History

The holocaust was the murder of twenty million innocent people in Germany and other nazi-controlled countries. Hate crimes on this scale and brutality should never happen again. But, in places like Sudan and Syria, they are occurring once again, but on different targets, with the same reason: sheer bigotry. No more!

  • Alright yep yep

Yeah my friend Karson said the holocaust.. Was pretty bad alright i mean quite honestly i think its pretty dadgum bad to be serious its just really really really bad and something not good at all and i hate how bad it really is to be real> so who likes the holocaust? <3

  • Joseph Stalin and the USSR's totalitarian regimes.

The Holocaust was a very large and horrific genocide. The first to ever have been operated at an industrial scale, but it was not the biggest. It was responsible for the untimely deaths of about 11 million individuals, whereas Stalin alone killed upwards of 14 million. Higher estimates put the total number of genocidal deaths that the USSR is responsible for at about 80 million individuals.

  • It Is Not The Worst!

100 Million Native Americans Died almost 80% of the population,
    10 million or more survived. The the the the a a a aa a a a a a a aa a a a a a a a a a a a a a aa a a a a a a a a a

  • Native Americans had it worse

While the Holocaust was indeed a horrible, terrible event it was not the worst in numbers and how long it lasted. The holocaust lasted for about 6 years with 20 million murdered but the Jewish were able to recover. The native American genocide lasted for centuries with an estimated 100 million dead, 80% of the native population was killed leaving less than 10 million left and the Native Americans were never able to recover, they had been forced their homelands by what were the real savages. And yet little to nothing exists to commemorate this atrocity not even a monument or day or movie and yet we celebrate Columbus day the Spanish terrorist from the 1400s that had murdered thousands of native Americans.

  • Native American Cover Up

It HAS to be the killing of 80% of Native Americans by the European conquerors of America (who carried out the same atrocities to the Aztecs, Mayans & Incas!) The Nazi holocaust seems like the worst, as it has been documented that way throughout modern times. The European 'invasion' of the Americas is perceived as a celebration...

  • Genocide of the indigenous Americans

The Native Americans went through far worse than the Jews in the holocaust. It's the most overlooked genocide in history. European colonization of the "new world", led to the decline of 80% of the native Americans. Which also made them second class citizens in their own homeland. Which is still happening now. The holocaust didn't last for centuries. The genocide of the indigenous Americans did, (it's still happening).

  • Holocaust or Holohoax?

The zionist provided 6 million figure has been found in newspaper articles as early as 1915, so it isn't true. The Red Cross figures also disagree with the 6 million figure. There were far more Germans killed by Allied bombings and by Eisenhower's killing of German prisoners after the war.

  • Did some research.

From the invasion of China in 1937 to the end of World War II, the Japanese military regime murdered near 3,000,000 to over 10,000,000 people, most probably almost 6,000,000 Chinese, Indonesians, Koreans, Filipinos, and Indochinese, among others, including Western prisoners of war. <https://www.Hawaii.Edu/powerkills/SOD.CHAP3.HTM>
All in all they killed more people, and got let off of their war crimes because friendly Americans and Anime. Germany feels very bad for what they did (Nazis) and they teach their children about what they did. Japan still hates China and they teach that what they did (Nanking) was a lie and that they were the victims even though Japan has invaded China multiple times (1st-2nd Sino Japanese War, etc). Not to mention China is a communist nation because of Japan. Before WWII, CCP (Commies essentially) and KMT (Freedom essentially) were tussling with each other, then Japan comes along and invades China. CCP and KMT "unite", but then the CCP went to hide in the hills and retreated, leaving the KMT to get mauled by the Japanese.
Now the CCP lies about fighting off Japan...And everyone hates China because communism ew and loves Japan because anime, again. Later commie China along with commie Russia supplied the Vietcong in the massive and pointless loss of human life known as the Vietnam War. So if you sum this all up, Japan scarred the world much more significantly than the Holocaust, NOT SAYING THAT THE HOLOCAUST IS NOT IMPORTANT! It was pretty bad too, but not as many (deaths) from the ussr, they kill a lot, Mao (Communist China) killed a lot of his own people too. Communism kills a lot of innocent people.
Long comment I know, but the ppl who said yes need to look deeper into history.

So technically the Japanese killed more people during their rampage and they got let off because anime.

  • Stalin and mao were worse

Under stalin the USSR killed what was estimated to 15-30 million, even a middle ground would be about double the holocausts, now these could be less brutal possibly but labor camps were in play in both of them so i would say cruelty to recipients was about even, in china 60+ million were killed under mao zedong through his laws and restrictions and even more killed from famine, and some argue through the forced abortion laws 100s of million have died in china;however, i find that one a bit less deserving of genocide. The third one that could be argued is the native american genocide, while not intentionally directed towards them in all cases, millions were intentionally killed and upward of a 100 million including disease related death, and through the trail of tears we can account that cruelty was in fact there, so the holcaust was bad, but i would wager against it being the worst
