We should not trust homosexuals to define marriage for the rest of us!

  • They arent though

They arent trying to define what marriage is for everyone else. You can still have a heterosexual marriage. They just also want the right to get married they arent trying to tell you what to do you can do whatever the heck you want. Literally no one cares. Why are you people so afraid?

  • What is this?

Homosexuals aren't defining marriage for anyone to begin with. Society is what defines marriage, and the majority of society now supports the inclusion of same sex couples within that definition. Unfortunately for homophobes like you, you are the minority and gay people are no longer expected to subject ourselves to your bigotry.

  • Whoa, hold up!

Wasn't it society all along who was determined on 'defining' every single thing they could get their little inquisitive hands on? Marriage is a man-made concept of the union of individuals in love. The fact that they are same sex is completely irrelevant.

The marriages I see today are despicable. There are divorces within months, constant fighting, abandoned children, cheating - you name the works. So if this is the definition of marriage to heterosexuals, so be it. You can keep your 'marriage'.

  • Why the heck not?

Ok this is kind of ridiculous that someone actually thinks this and expects others to agree. We shouldn't "trust" these people? How can we not trust homosexuals, seriously? Marriage is when two people pledge to love each other forever. Why should this be restricted to a man and a woman? In this day and age your type of ignorance and stupidity is appalling.

  • "The rest of us" mainly support gay marriage.

Gay marriage is not some apocalyptic event which is going to tear down society, if anything is going to do that its the social chaos which homophobes are beginning in a last ditch effort to stop gay marriage. Not only does gay marriage not affect straight marriages but also does not destroy the idea of family, if anything it expands that idea. Lastly you still have the right to worship any god you want wether once gay marriage becomes legal, however as US vs Lee clearly states "When followers of a particular sect enter into commercial activity as a matter of choice, the limits they accept on their own conduct as a matter of conscience and faith are not to be superimposed on the statutory schemes which are binding on others in that activity."
