The joke about Bill Cosby was very funny and pretty harmless. It was much less inflammatory than other things that are being said about him. I think people might be upset because it was said at an industry event by people in the business. i do not think it was in poor taste.
In America, people are innocent until proven guilty. however, it's clear that Bill Cosby has been hiding something. He doesn't want to talk to the media about it at all, and is very confrontational with anyone who asks about it. Women who are abused live in silence and have no voice. During the Golden globes, they got that voice.
There is the old saying "innocent until proven guilty" which does not seem to be mentioned in the same sentence as Bill Cosby. Unfortunately Fey and Poehler aided in eroded the rights of Bill Cosby. If his case ever goes to trial, it will be very difficult to find a jury of his peers who are unbiased.
I do not believe that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were right in their decision to make derisive remarks about Bill Cosby during the Golden Globes because the legal issue is still ongoing. Although multiple women have stepped forward with claims of sexual harassment or assault against Cosby, until he is charged with a crime, celebrities should refrain from publicly commenting on the issue.
