  • Technically, they are.

If this is based on physical strength then yes, women are technically weaker in general. Numerous scientific studies show this fact again and again. It is theorised (and likely) that this is due to the nurturing role that females carry out due to genes and natural instinct. The role of protecting the the family unit (troop, tribe, family etc.) has always been make for the same reason. Estrogen and testosterone also make a big difference in bodily form, as well as behaviour.

  • Yes and No

Men are naturally stronger than women. They were the hunters and the builders and women were the baby makers and housewives. It has been that way for literally thousands of years. But there can be cases where women can work to become stronger than a man, but it's naturally harder since their bodies are not meant to be frolic, but fluffy. However, when it comes to pain, women are superior. If a man was to go through what women go through in child birth, they would literally die from the pain since their bodies are not meant to deal with that sort of pain.
