Will Everyone be multiracial in the future

Asked by: Zambos
  • It's complicated, but mostly yes.

Race is an artificial construct based on culture, color, features, ethnicity, etc. As the world globalizes and humans of all sorts travel and reproduce, we can conclude that inevitably down the line all of humanity will have decently close ancestors from all over the globe, ethnically speaking. However, this wouldn't be "multiracial" as separate races would no longer exist as we understood them. Us now would see them as multiracial, but by the time that reality comes to pass race as we know and understand it won't be around.
