Due to the nature of Obamacare, fewer people will have to go to the emergency room for small items and more people will be paying their medical bills. With almost every American getting health insurance and the expansion of Medicaid and Medicare, more people will be able to see a family doctor instead.
One part of Obamacare is that more time, effort and revenue should be spent on preventive care. As such, ideally, fewer people will have heart attacks, diabetes and other maladies that cause emergency room visits. Hopefully, urgent care centers will be more prevalent under the new law as opposed to full emergency rooms.
