  • romney knows how to run a business so he should be able to run a country

romney has a legit plan for america while obama is running on hope and change. romney wants to approve the keystone pipeline to create jobs and lower gas prices and drill for oil in the US and be less dependent on foreign oil. obama wants the same but he doesnt want to drill for oil or get it from the keystone pipeline. obama has brought the unemployment up to 7.9 percent from 7.8 percent. he also brought it to 10 percent in his term and it was above 8 percent for over 40 months and he said it would be below 8 percent through his entire term which he failed to do. he said it would be 5.6 percent right now and its 7.9 percent. obama is running on lies and failed policies

  • I don't get why people are calling Mitt "lesser of two evils".

I totally agree with people that this is a man that built a successful company and made sure first-hand that his employees were being treated equally based on merit and not sex or race. I think this whole women should vote for Obama because he believes in women's rights and Mitt wants to take us back to the 50s is complete BS! The "binders" were notebooks that he had full of employee facts that he took the time to read through to make sure everyone was being treated fairly in his company! I'm also irritated with people basing their vote on women's right crap! We are in a horrible economy and our president is ignoring intelligence telling him that we are going to be attacked and you are worried about equality in a country that has more equality than any other country on the planet! Not to mention Roe vs wade happened over 30 years ago and there have been countless presidents that could have turned it over by now if that was at the top of their agenda. It should be a priority but when rogue communist armies are attacking us it simply isn't! Really people? Obama has put this economy in the pot! Gas and grocery prices are horrible! We are barely making it month to month and when Obama took office we were tight but with at least a little wiggle room. Our income has gone up reasonably (more than the average American) and we live at a lower standard than we did four years ago! Shoot, Clinton is even looking really like a good president right now!!!

  • Romney Ryan 2012

I think that Obama has had his chance and he really screwed up. In Obama's Inaugural Address in 2009, He said, "If i cant Fix this economy in the 3 years, then you can call me Former President Obama" the man needs to keep his word and become Former President Obama. Also Why are people opposing a man that made his way through running businesses and comes from and economical background, you think that would be a very desirable trait in a presidential candidate at this point.

  • no

Mitt Romney will not win the 2012 Presidential election. Voters will realize that running a business is not the same as running a country. Businesses try to maximize profit for the owners, often only for the short term. The "business" of government is not the same. Governments are to maintain the peace and safety of the population, and to ensure the same for future generations. Government must take the long term view, it must understand that what it does today may not bear fruit until the future, for future generations. Romney's emphasis on short-term solutions may play on the fears and insecurities of many of the voters, but the thoughtful voters will see that Obama has the long term view of what the country needs.
