Will same-sex marriage eventually be legal in all 50 states?

Asked by: ladiesman
  • It's only a matter of time

Judging by the fact that the Supreme Court very recently legalized gay marriage in 11 additional states, making it now legal in 30 states, same-sex marriage being allowed in all 50 states is most likely inevitable. If/when that happens, this country would have made another step forward in the acceptance of homosexuality.

  • Not a ton of people support it. And they can repopulate.

Maybe it will but there are plenty of people who disagree. Gays cant repopulate or have a whole family. Children should not be deprived of a father or mother. No i dont believe it will with people who dont support it. And i dont Believe it ever should. Thanks for reading.

  • No constitutional right

There is no constitutional right to get married in the US constitution therefore unless the Feds make it a law it won't happen. It won't happen in sovergn states that make laws or amend there constitutions to define marriage as a union of a man and woman. States have always been the administers of marriage licenses and it should remain that way. If gays want to get married they need to go to a state that recognizes them.
