  • Show me the GAS!

Just looking at this may be narrow minded but, if one considers the magnitude and the effects of America becoming energy independent sometime this decade or the next, what you will see is a stronger dollar. A stronger dollar means that things will get cheaper for us allowing to buy more thus allowing for more business. The gas production has allowed us to recover from the recession and governments are now running black ink thanks to this.

But let's say that production falls because gas is cheap, we will get cheap gas in the process, which increases consumption. Thats what's happening now. Sure, some people will lose their jobs but only in the short term because once production falls to the point that can not keep up with demand, the price will go up again, and those people will get their jobs back. The dollar may rise in value again, gas prices will go up affecting consumption but the extra investments by gas companies will make up the difference thus keeping our economy strong.

  • Yes eventually, but it will take time

Yes the American economy most likely will recover from the recession of recent times, although it's going to take a lot longer then first predicted and most certainly require far more innovative thinking to stimulate growth. An increase in GDP and a focus on the labour market is definitely required.

  • US Economy will grow

The American economy will continue to grow as it took a long time to recover from the deep recession as expected. If we can just stay the course and not deregulate the financial and oil industries, we should continue at the same pace. 2014 was the best year for recovery and expect 2015 to eclipse that.

  • The American economy will recover.

Although the American economy is experiencing a mild recession, it is sure to recover in time. There are already signs of recovery, such as decreased oil prices and lower unemployment rates. America remains the strongest economy in the world. It recessions occur from time to time, and they are part of a market economy.

  • America's economy will recover

I agree that the American economy will recover. A country's economic life is filled with ups and downs. These periods of booms and busts are always temporary and are a natural part of the economic cycle. America is well on its way to economic recover, and, with a little policy help, it will continue to recover over the next few years.

  • It may, but I have to lean torwards no..

I think that we will have an increasingly boosting economy will come into play until the currency colapse occurs. It is only a matter of time before before that happens, it will come, and is in the near future. Optical illusions will only work for a short period of time, but when our monetary sysyem falls under its own weight, we will all realize every thing is not what it seems.
