Would a Relative Maximum Wage better the economy?

Asked by: hts
  • We need a maximum wage

It should be related to what the lowest paid person in the business makes. Either 100 or 150 times or something along those lines. When the business is doing well and the executive wants to give himself a raise, he would need to raise the salary of the lowest paid person if his raise gets above that ratio.

  • Why? NO. That is pathetic

I don't have a job, and I think this is terrible. Sorry callmebob6, but "the executive wants to give himself a raise, he would need to raise the salary of the lowest paid person if his raise gets above that ratio" they are totally free to do that. But there are consequences for that executive's decision, his company will fall apart because none of the employees are getting paid! Putting a limit on this action is like putting a lock on a lock! Not to mention this would limit our economy's strength.
