  • They would indeed

I cannot think of any kind of a task where a human is actually safer at doing than a robot is. Robots and their computers inside can react to what is going on so very much faster than a human can, and are not burdened by things such as emotion.

  • I say no for many reasons

People can die if robots make mistakes. Humans have quick reflexes and are highly trained. Robots can mess up if not properly coded Robots can be hacked or short circuited. Lives are in our hands. Either we stand as humans or die ffrom robots. What if robots take over the world. BYE BYEThat why i say no

  • No No No

Robots can break down at any given moment. What if another thing like 9-11 happened would a robot be able to save the plane No ! ! ! Robots can break down at any given moment. What if another thing like 9-11 happened would a robot be able to save the plane No ! ! ! Blobfish GO TRUMP

  • NO. That's what i say

I say no because what if robot gets hacked or short Circuited? Then we would crash because we basically don't have a pilot. If we had a pilot, he could tell something was wrong because he could smell, hear, touch and feel something if it went wrong. Thats why I say no. #BLOBFISHFORLIFE

  • Nothing can replace human intuition.

As a pilot I've had my auto pilot fail or have errors countless times. Even when the auto pilot is engaged I have to constantly monitor the engine and flight instruments as if I was actually at the controls. Once an error occurs it only takes a fraction of a second for a potential disaster to occur. We as pilots need to be ready at a moments notice to take control and keep the aircraft flying. Even when an error doesn't occur the computer can't always keep up with turbulence and and very strong winds and must be flown by hand.

  • No the use of robot pilots would not improve flight safety.

Computers and aircraft autopilots already control commercial aircraft and airliners for the majority of the time they are in the air, so we've already gained the advantage they have to offer. But they cannot be programmed to handle every possible issue that can arise in the operation of an airplane. We will need the safety factor provided by having a human in the cockpit.
