  • All Presidents Are Scary

Every president the United States has had too much power. I say that we should rule ourselves, as Libertarians. The government consists of monkeys at keyboards and nothing more. So I would say that every candidate is equally bad.

  • Cruz is worse

Both would make the worst president in history cuz they r racists, they don't believe in climate change and ant work with people who disagree with them. Cruz is worse though because he copies Donald Trump with his wall plan and anti muslim sh!T. He (unlike Trump) sees no good in planned parenthood. He's also the ugliest candidate of all time. These two are at the top of the worst picks list but Cruz is just higher on it than Trump but neither beat Mike Fu(kabee.

  • At least Trump isn't a puppet.

I'm not a republican, but if a republican were to be the next president, I'd have to go with Donald Trump. Cruz and Trump argue mostly for the same conservative ideals, but as Trump boldly shouts his opinions, Cruz is the kind of guy to mutter the same opinions, while at the same time trying to please the Republican Party. Trump being resident is underrated, sure he seems extreme, but extremism is his only card; if he were to start muttering his conservative views and use a filter for his word choice, like cruz, he'd lose most of his votes. That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if he really did support abortion/ believe in climate change/ didn't turn out to be a hardcore christian, but he's got to appeal to all the red-necks down south, and all the other guys that are tired of the same stagnant politics.

  • Trump is better.

He does not have to take a side in every issue. He can refuse to respond as with the racist. He can say that you have to be consistant as with the abortion issue or he can say that he does not want Mexico controlling in order to address the drug war. That shows more independence and less tendency to be ruled by the masses.

  • Cruz is a Biased Pig

Donald Trump comes across more rude and irrational and leans more the liberal side, so looking from a conservative point of view Cruz would be a much worse nominee/president that Donald trump, the work and progress that he would get done is so high and can't even count it: 0% progress.

  • Cruz a scarier potential nominee

Ted Cruz would be a scarier presidential nominee than Donald Trump. Although neither is the ideal candidate, Cruz has taken extreme right positions. He also refuses to compromise, and would rather shut down the government to prove a point. This is dangerous. Trump, for all his flaws, generally has moderate political views.

  • Donald Trump vs. Ted Cruz

Ted Cruz and Donald Trump are both terrible candidates for president. They are racist, hold uninformed opinions of various topics, and are generally not people you want to be considered the face of your nation. However, of the two, the question is which will be more easily defeated by the democratic or other party nominee for president. Since I believe Ted Cruz is the weaker of the two candidates, Donald Trump is the scarier of the two, when going head to head with the other nominees. Trump has far too much experience with media and how to manipulate the general populace to get attention, even if it's to the audience's detriment.

  • Cruz has good ideas

Cruz has a great plan for dealing with employer outsourcing with visas. Cruz is smart and funny. Unlike Trump, Cruz can control his temper. Cruz has an impressive resume that includes clerking for a Supreme Court justice. He would make a great president, unlike Trump, who incites violence at his rallies.

  • Trump is much scarier.

Trump is a wealthy business man, Cruz is a politician...So who has a better track record for screwing over the people of our country? When's the last time someone similar to Trump was elected in our Country? Teddy Roosevelt and Donald Trump share a great deal of political views and attitudes towards issues that affect the United States...And that's scary. Politicians hated TR, were terrified of him and resented him for creating wealth and security for the middle and lower class...And they're going to hate Trump too but for slightly different reasons. Trump is most likely going to set fire to this Country...It's entirely too corrupt and built upon said corruption to just "Fix" the issue, so it has to burn. Socialist programs that don't work and are broken are going to probably disappear (Welfare, foodstamps ect ect..) and they're going to be replaced with more jobs, more opportunities and more financial security as the business that's been moving out of the U.S. for decades begins moving back in. People are going to suffer, there's going to be pain...But change doesn't come cost free, revolutionary change tends to hurt...Alot. So Trump's pretty scary...But he's a hell of a lot better than the candidate that ALREADY has 2 scandals going on and the guy that can't stand the thought of losing.

  • If you believe Ted Cruz would make a scarier president than Donald Trump, that scares me!

The fact that many Americans are so uninformed and/or misinformed and don't do their own research is scary. Why is that scary, one may ask? Because with their misinformation/stupidity, they actually believe that the second biggest liar in America (after Hillary Clinton, of course) would make a fabulous president.
Donald Trump has never stuck with any of his policies for more than five minutes. He is rude, crude, and would send this country off a cliff.
The fact that people find him trustworthy after he cheats on his wives? HAHAHAHA *facepalm*

  • Donald Trump if a fickle non conservative liar.

Being a reasonable man, I see no signs of Ted Cruz or Donald Trump being racist, however, it is very apparent that Donald Trump continuously lies in making false accusations about his opposing candidates and his policies. His immigration plan is the right idea, but after further review of its impact, the economy will be in danger of failure. Many people think he is out going and stands by his policies simply because of his trash talk and voice of a child, yet you see continuously his fickle ideals. Donald Trump does not know what he wants, he is not right winged as many people think he is when they see him rant on stage. Cruz, in my opinion, is a classic right winged candidate who will no doubt improve the country from its declining state.

  • He is a an adult, he is a politician.

Donald Trump is not a politician. If one is to claim that Cruz has terrible policies, at least he does it like an adult. Donald Trump will treat his presidency as a learning experience. Cruz may have a hard time talking to politicians in the U.S., but he can do it better than Trump. This includes foreign policy. Overall, Cruz can sit down to a political discussion, Trump is not capable of that: Trump will ruin the American dream!

  • Better the bear you know.

Track record. We have no idea what Trump truly believes. He has changed his beliefs many times and never done anything about them. Even if you don't like Cruz's values, you must admit they are clear, unchanging and he stands behind them every time. Also, it would be good to have a president who loves and stands for our constitution.

  • I do not believe that Ted Cruz would be scarier than Donald Trump

Cruz has proved through his campaign speeches that he is more of a conservative than Donald trump on certain subjects. While I do agree with Donald Trump on many topics such as immigration I think Trump has another side too him. Donald Trump scares me because he appears to have some facade that is hiding his true self. In my personal opinion Donald Trump is a possible pawn used by the democrats to throw the republican party off. So no I do not believe that Ted Cruz would be a scarier president than Donald Trump.

  • No, I do not think that Ted Cruz would be a scarier presidential nominee than Donald Trump.

No, I do not think that Ted Cruz would be a scarier presidential nominee than Donald Trump because Ted Cruz understand politics and has concrete plans of what policies to implement if her become President of The United States. Donald Trump on the other hand says whatever comes to his mind, has no filter, and doesn't have any concrete plans of what policies he plans on implementing. If Donald Trump becomes President, no one would know what to expect, whereas Ted Cruz seems to know more about the issues.
