Zika and the Brazil Olympics: Should the Summer Olympics be moved from Brazil due to the Zika virus?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • The Olympics should not be moved

I think it would be a bad idea to move the Olympics because of a virus scare. A country has to do so much to get ready for the Olympics, including building the stadiums and areas where they will be held. I don't think another country would have the time at this point to get ready for the events.

  • No, it should not

There is no real risk to acquiring the Zika virus. The attendees going to the Olympics in Brazil run virtually no risk of getting sick. This is just a scare tactic being brought on by the media to keep people subjected to immoral Big Pharma companies. It is all ludicrous.

  • The Summer Olympics should not be moved from Brazil due to the Zika virus

The Summer Olympics should not be moved from Brazil due to the Zika virus because for one it would be a logistical nightmare that cannot possibly happen in time for the scheduled Olympics. Furthermore, a lot remains unknown about the virus. We really need not cater to the sky is falling crowd.

  • The Zika virus will not be a problem for the athletes in the Summer Olympic games.

The organizers of the Olympic games reassured athletes of low risk of Zika virus in the summer games to be held in held in the months of August and September. This has been echoed by health experts who have said the Aedes aegypti mosquito that carries the virus is inactive in cooler and drier weather.
