  • Should student athletes be required to take drug tests?

Jason Giambi was a huge power hitter during the late 1990s and early 2000s but was named in the BALCO scandal in 2003 for using Clomid, commonly used by male athletes to restore the body's natural production of testosterone. In retrospect, I strongly believe that as long as your responsible with your smoking habits or whatever drug your taking (and I've done almost all of them), then drug testing should not have to occur. And some students have more focus on the game when their getting that strong buzz or getting "high".

  • Should the use of performance-enhancing drugs in sports be legalized?

In closing: Mark McGuire, Jose Canseco, Barry Bonds, Miguel Tejada, Jason Giambi, Melky Cabrera, Andy Petite, Roger Clemens, Alex Rodriguez, Ivan Rodriguez, Rafael Palmero, Sammy Sosa, Lance Armstrong, Ben Johnson, Marion Jones. “With reference to the Lance Armstrong case, should drugs be legalised in sport?” With reference to the Lance Armstrong case, it could be argued that drugs should be legalised in sport. Drug use could also become more and more rampant as all the athletes would be forced to start using them and using stronger and stronger ones.
