You can play as all your favorite characters from the Shrek movies, Simple controls make this an easy game to just pick up and play, Retains the same charm and humor of the Shrek movies, Fun challenge mode.

The Bad

Story mode is too short, Gameplay is a bit too shallow to keep your interest for long, Multiplayer isn't particularly engaging.

The Bottom Line

Gamers play as 20 favorite Shrek and fairytale characters, unleashing power slams, taunts and signature attacks including juggling foes as Donkey, swashbuckling as Puss in Boots, leveling kung fu kicks as Princess Fiona and belly flopping as Shrek. An easy game to pick up and play, but unless you're a big fan of the license there isn't much to keep you playing.

As far as children's titles go, this one is absolutely terrific. It takes all of the fighting games like SoulCalibur and Mortal Kombat and puts them into a witty, harmless game that you don't feel so bad about letting them play.

It's obvious from the first minute of play time that SuperSlam aspires to copy "Super Smash Bros.," and a general lack of character responsiveness and a sometimes jittery framerate with multiple characters onscreen limits the fighter's potential.
