  • London is the best capital city in the world.

If you live in london you begin to realise that what ever you want, london has to offer. "Holy land" to three religions, Jerusalem, is inarguably more culturally and ethnically diverse than London-- having Arabic is the largest ethnic group of 42 percent as opposed to London's dominating 70 percent White [1][2].

Opinions

  • Is America dying like the Roman Empire?

Moreover, there's an interesting document in the Tower of London, dated from 1675, a hundred years before independence, (difficult to read, it's in old English), but basically the new settlers were asking for military assistance from the King (Britain), as certain Indian tribes weren't keeping their side of land bargaining and stealing from the new settlers. The influence of money on politics is stronger than ever, and I'm afraid it's reached a point of no return, as demonstrated by congress' inability to enact meaningful campaign finance reform -- our government operates as legal bribery in some respects. Finally, America is strong.

  • Should bullfighting be allowed to continue?

For this reason, many tourists who visit Spain feel that seeing a bullfight is a necessary part of their holiday, just as tourists visiting Britain go to see the Tower of London. Uh hu uh hu Whatever floats your boat, so long as it doesn't pose a strong risk to others. I'm going to say it should not be banned kk lol I am strongly against it.

  • Dawkins: 'I will arrest the Pope'

She should have her guards arrest him and throw into the Tower of London (he can wave to the tourists from his cell) and disband all Catholic places of worship, just like her forefather Henry VIII did.: At 4/12/2010 9:41:37 AM, brian_eggleston wrote: : : At 4/12/2010 9:17:50 AM, lastrequest691 wrote: : : I don't think anybody would dare lay hands on "his Holiness" not even the Church of England. : : She should have her guards arrest him and throw into the Tower of London (he can wave to the tourists from his cell) and disband all Catholic places of worship, just like her forefather Henry VIII did.

  • Get out of society?

Also, sailing up the Thames under Tower Bridge and past famous landmarks such as the Tower of London the Houses of Parliament is a real pleasure on a summer day.: At 8/17/2011 11:13:49 AM, Indophile wrote: : : At 8/17/2011 10:45:44 AM, brian_eggleston wrote: : : Actually, I have gone as about as far as it is possible to escape the clutches of government control in so much as my registered address is my boat which is moored in a marina. This means I am exempt from certain taxes such as the Council Tax (a local tax of about £2,500 / $4,000 per year) and although the marina is located in central London, whilst aboard I am subject to Maritime Law, rather than Common Law, which means that the police cannot obtain a warrant to board my vessel – only the Royal Navy have the right to come aboard without my express consent.: At 8/17/2011 10:45:44 AM, brian_eggleston wrote: : Actually, I have gone as about as far as it is...
