True Crime

Debates and Opinions

  • 3 men 1 hammer should not be online

The murder video, although heinous, will show the world what true crime is like in real life, not television; therefore, citizens will have a better view on matters concerning crime and punishment so as to evaluate criminal laws in a more informed light. People need to witness the true nature of crime and punishment before forming an opinion since these people elect the law makers. Knowledge of true crime for a citizenry who votes on law makers is far from a minor point.

  • Prisoners getting the vote

Much research demonstrates how social economic factors can be responsible for crime; often crime is a last resort or just a 'way of life' that has been handed down by parents. Not every person in prison has committed a true crime. So what I'm trying to get across in this first paragraph is that one should not be too quick to determine what rights an unknown individual should have taken away as they do not know the true nature of that individual just because he is in prison.

Opinions

  • should the death penalty be eliminated?

The True Crime Here? In any murder cases 100% proven, there should be no need for life in prison Unless there is uncertainty, the death penalty would fix the problem of overpopulation in jails, lower crime rates, and save millions each year on keeping prisoners fed and clothed. If we followed this law, I believe crime would be cut.

  • Should emotionally breaking a person be a crime?

There are too many variables when it comes to emotions so for it to be a true crime it would have to be something really messed up and devastating. It shouldnt be Now, when I say that it shouldn't be a crime I say that because there are probably many times where someone has emotionally broken down someone but not with the intention to. If it were a crime then anyone with sensitive feelings could claim someone did it to them and then they would have to be punished.

  • Christianity is an immoral Philosphy

A true crime against reason. A true crime against reason. That is a true crime against reason (not being able to go where the evidence leads), so Atheism is irrational, therefore an immoral belief.: At 2/21/2013 9:14:58 AM, KeytarHero wrote: : : At 2/21/2013 9:05:31 AM, Pwner wrote: : : I actually agree that Christianity is immoral, but on several different grounds.
