(Post Voting Period)
Yup, it's another classic pirates vs. ninjas debate, except these aren't any ordinary pirates or ninjas! The full resolution is, "In a war, the One Piece universe would beat the Naruto universe."

Burden of Proof -

I, Pro, must prove that in a war between the One Piece universe and Naruto universe, the former would win.

My opponent, Con, must prove that in a war between the One Piece universe and Naruto universe, the latter would win.

Rules for Battle -

1. All current characters in the series will be restored to full health and power.

2.
(Post Voting Period)
I thank kyro90 in advance for accepting this debate. We have both reached an agreement on what super powers we will be arguing for and what the rules will be.

BOP-

I, Pro, must prove that the ability to find anything you wish is a better power than invisibility.

My opponent, Con, must prove that the power to turn in invisible is better than the ability to find anything you wish.

Rules-

1. Although this should not be necessary, there will be no abuse of semantics, loopholes, and/or word play.

2. We can not exploit our powers to make them God-like nor can we use them to attain other powers.

For the purposes of this debate, "better" will be defined as "more useful".

I look forward to a fun debate.

Bowser vs the Sonic the Hedgehog. Hopefully...

(Post Voting Period) The first round is for acceptance only. In a one-on-one battle, Bowser from "Mario" could defeat Sonic the Hedgehog from "Sonic the Hedgehog."

The rules are as follows:

1. There will be no abuse of linguistics, semantics, or such in the debate.
2. Items are not allowed in this debate.
3. The setting of the fight is a square field that is ten miles on each side. This square can not be exited.
4. No allies are allowed in this battle. An ally in this debate is anything that can act on its own to aid the battler. Therefore, a robot that aids Sonic or a Koopa aiding Bowser is an ally.
5. Invincibility stars are not allowed in this debate (emphasis).

BOP: Pro, (I), must prove that Bowser could defeat Sonic the Hedgehog.
BOP: Con, (PeacefulChaos), must prove that Sonic the Hedgehog could defeat Bowser.
Neither side can argue for a tie.
I guess that's it. I hope my opponent enjoys this debate as I do.

Please disregard the other debate challenge, as I

(Voting Period)
This is my first debate on Debate.org, so I am pretty excited about it! The first round will be for acceptance only.

Resolution:

The resolution states, “Do or do not, there is no try”, a famous quote from Yoda. I, con, will be arguing against this statement. I will be stating that there is such thing as trying.

My opponent, pro, will agree with the resolution. He/she will try to prove that there isn't such thing as trying.

Therefore, I stand firm in the following statement: There is such thing as trying.

Cats are better than dogs

(Post Voting Period) Both rounds are for all out debate. No abuse of semantics, dictionary's, or any form of abuse towards words. Any word that is used in this debate will contain only one meaning. Also, when I mean dog, I am talking about a fully grown dog, not just a puppy or a one year old dog. I thank my opponent in advance for accepting this debate and I await his approval and first argument for this debate. As the topic states, "Cats are better than dogs" and as my position states, I am pro meaning I am for this topic's literal meaning.

Burden of proof

First

Cats are better in size. They will take up less space as they will be much smaller than a dog (not a puppy or one year old dog as a I specified above). They are very space conservative since they will stay in their small bed and they have a litter box.

Second

Cats are easier to handle (in most cases). They will not slobber everywhere like most dogs do. They will shed hair on sofas, but it will be easy to
