The Giants were only 10-6 in the regular season and 14-6 overall, while the Pats were 18-1. Clearly, the Pats were the better team. They faced harder teams, won more games, and even beat the Giants in the last game of the regular season. Contention II: Records. The pats recieved multiple awards in this year.
