(Post Voting Period)
Resolved: Individuals have a moral obligation to assist those in need.

Rules and Conditions:

1. This is the November/December topic for 2011 in LD. Thus, this will be treated as an LD debate.
2. Both traditional and progressive cases are allowed.
3. Cases are allowed to be posted in google documents if they exceed the 8000 character limit. All rebuttals must be inside the limit.
4. Forfeit means automatic loss, unless this rule is voided by the non-forfeiting debater.

Round structure:

Round One: Neg proposes debate, aff accepts and posts case.
Round Two: Neg posts case and rebuttal. Aff posts rebuttal.
Round Three: Neg posts rebuttal, aff posts last rebuttal.

Deviation from this round structure is automatic deduction of conduct point for one offense, automatic loss for two.
<br /

Resolved: The average intelligence of a Fox News Anchor is = or < the average intelligence of a rock

(Post Voting Period) The resolution is pretty straightforward, Pro must argue why the average Fox News anchorman is about as smart as a rock or less than that of a rock, while the con must argue that Fox News anchormen are capable of intellectual thought, reasoning, and logical conclusions based on evidence.

First round is acceptance only :D

Is the g-string the most susceptible to breaking on an acoustic six string steel guitar

(Post Voting Period) I love guitars. For some reason I have a passion for guitar strings. I have snapped the g-string more than any other string. I snapped the g-string from loosening and even a simple tuning adjustment. The g-string is under the most tension. Furthermore, it is wrapped unlike the high e string, which is plain steel. The high e although tuned to a higher is under less tension. In addition, more bends are done on the g-string. As a resuit it wears out faster than the other strings The g-string also has the thinnest core of all the strings. For those reasons the g-string is the easiest to break.

(Post Voting Period) When thinking of what to write, I couldn't come across the words to describe the stupidity of this incompetent oaf who has no social status or societal meaning towards the advancement of our country. That is why I am asking for a strong PRO vote on today's resolution of Resolved: Annemarie is a raving maniac.

I will now describe some key terms that are in relation to the resolution.

1. Annemarie- A name for a dumb insolent oaf who resides in an elitist neighborhood in Wheeling.
2. maniac- Annemarie Krall

Contention One: Annemarie has proven nothing.
In her existence on this thing we called the earth, Annemarie Krall has proved nothing towards the benefit of society. She has given nothing and proven too little to be considered a life form. For example, she is a bumbling oaf who can't decide what to say in a situation that makes her feel uncomfortable. She is dumb and I can't put it in any simpler terms.

Contention Two: Annemarie doesn't even kn

Vince Carter is the best dunker of all time

(Post Voting Period) I believe that Vince Carter is the best dunker of all time. No question less talented than Jordan and others, but anyone out there actually think MJ, Dominique Wilkins, Kobe etc. were better dunkers?

Religion is given too much respect

(Post Voting Period) I am arguing that religion is given more respect than it deserves. It is considered rude to inquire their reasoning when it comes to their religion, however, it is not rude when inquiring about someone's political views. Both of these topics are based on belief and opinion, yet it is taboo to inquire about the reasoning behind one's religious beliefs.

As the instigator, I must argue that religion is given too much respect in today's society.

I await an opponent.
