iPhone vs android

(Post Voting Period) I will argue that the iPhone is a much better choice than an android phone for several reasons. By "better" I mean a more advantageous choice to any owner.

Sex Education Should Be Taught Rather Than Abstinence only

(Post Voting Period) I will be arguing Pro, in that Sex Education is more beneficial to the student in that it will allow for a safer and healthier life-style. Con will be arguing the opposite that Abstinence only programs are more beneficial to the students.
Abstinence-only sex education is defined as "a form of sex education that emphasizes abstinence from sex, and often excludes many other types of sexual and reproductive health education, particularly regarding birth control and safe sex."
http://en.wikipedia.org...

Sex Education will be defined as a term used to describe education about human sexual anatomy, sexual reproduction, sexual intercourse, reproductive health, emotional relations, reproductive rights and responsibilities, abstinence, contraception, and other aspects of human sexual behavior.
http://en.wikipedia.org...
Beneficial is defined as "conferring benefit; advantageous; helpful"

The legal drinking age should be 18 years of age

(Post Voting Period) I believe that the legal age of alcohol consumption should be lowered once again to 18 years old. I will argue this is the case for several reasons.

The first reason involves the inconsistency of responsibility that the law sees fit for an 18 year old. At 18, we receive many opportunities and responsibilities such as voting, serving on a jury, joining the military, getting a gun permit, signing a contract and getting married but buying a pack of cigarettes or ordering a beer is out of the question. If they are old enough to make medical decisions for themselves than they should be able to chose what they put in their bodies. I don't see how the government could suggest that voting is something to be taken lighter than drinking. If you're able to join the military and fight for our country then you should be able to go to the bar and order a beer.

Obesity is a disease.

(Post Voting Period) Obesity is not a disease. Obesity is a lifestyle. People chose what to put into there bodies. No one drives you to McDonald's, forces you to buy a quarter ponder and consume it. These actions are choices. When you choose to eat burger containing 3x the amount of recommended calories, you should expect to gain weight. Not to mention the ones who wash down the burger with a coke and biggie size french fry. If you make these decisions you are not ill, you are negligent.

We are who we are based on our enviorment. Nature vs. Nurture Debate

(Post Voting Period) Nature vs. Nurture. I believe we are the person we grow to be due to the environment we are raised in. A child raised in isolation will be socially awkward because they have lacked the environment to teach them how to behave around others.
