(Post Voting Period) Hello everyone! Based on the two biggest issues on the news during the last week, I think this would be a fun debate. How this will work, is that my opponent will pick one person in round one. This debate will be about determining who is more sick and twisted out of Jodi Arias, and Ariel Castro. I will take either one. Debate will take place in rounds 2 and 3. Thanks in advance to whoever accepts this. :)

(Post Voting Period) First of all, I understand and acknowledge that the Boston bombing was a terrible event which never should have occurred. But don't you ever stop and think that a big deal is being made out of something substantially smaller? People were even thinking this could be compared to 9/11. On the same day 42 people die in an earthquake in Iraq. But does that receive even a tenth of what the Boston bombings received. No. This can't be defended.

Terrorism is good for reasons such as:
    1. Population control
    2. if the act of terrorism is suicide bombing the terrorist dies too
    3. it creates drama (girls can't live without drama)
    4. it creates news for the media which increases jobs for the media

Banning Guns

(Post Voting Period) Some people in this world believe we should ban guns from the streets and from honest people who don't use them to do harm. I saw this is a load of crap, i mean its not like banning guns is gonna make all the criminals give up there guns. And besides its not like they got them legally anyway. Taking away guns would just endanger more people because they wouldn't have a way to protect themselves and fight back.

The United States has provided more than $20 billion in aid to Pakistan in recent years. Recently a move was made in the Senate to terminate aid, but the cut off was blocked. The resolution for this debate is that aid should not be terminated in the near future unless entirely new and unforeseen events occur. Some reduction of aid is permitted within the scope of the resolution, but not a complete termination nor a reduction to significant as to amount to a cut off.

A drug is any chemical designed to affect the human body. A psychoactive drug is a drug that affects the brain. There is a blind man. The man has been blind since he was born. A mysterious man comes out and says to the blind man" since you are blind, I have a potion that can make you see again." The blind man takes the potion and then he can see. The misterous man goes away and Sherlok Holmes comes. He holds up a red hand cuff and says to the man that was blind but not now," what color is this?" The man looks at the hand cuff very carfully and says "red". Sherlok Holmes says that the potion is fake.
