(Debating Period) Children by most societies. are being prioritized when it comes to protection. when children are being brought to day cares parents want to know the reputation of the place. when you adopt a child you are being checked if you are qualified in having the child. And when a child is being abused most people in the right mind will have the great urge to help the child. Biological parents when bringing offspring affect the child during the pregnancy phase, thus can be abused and be disordered in one away or another. either by taking drugs or smoking or drinking... etc'. Usually when trying to find suitable people for certain activities or jobs like: driving, gun and business ownership... etc' you need to have a license for that. If we were to make a parental license how many children could grow up to become productive adults?

(Debating Period) Beauty pageants are detrimental for children. According to Women"s News/Columbus Dispatch, 2.5 million girls compete in beauty pageants in the U.S. every year. These children"s competitions attract children that age from about six months old to 16 years old competing for crowns and cash. Children are getting the wrong idea about how important their looks are to them. Children are becoming conceited and very pressured/stressed. "Playing dress-up on the pageant stage costs parents financially, and some experts argue that is can be harmful to girls, teaching them that their self-worth is measured by how pretty they are."(ABC News). Beauty pageants are very destructive and are a terrible idea for children.

(Debating Period) Fazil Say is a Turkish pianist and composer who gives worldwide concerts. Because of disparaging Islam through some Twitter posts, he received a 10-month-suspended-jail term. For example in one tweet, Say joked about a call to prayer that he said lasted only 22 seconds. Say tweeted: "Why such haste? Have you got a mistress waiting or a raki on the table?" Raki is a traditional alcoholic drink made with aniseed. Islam forbids alcohol and many Islamists consider the remarks unacceptable. (Voting Period) I am doing a debate on lowering the driving age to 15 instead of 16 this would help us out with our economy too, there would be more cars being bought by younger ages. Because of more cars being bought there would be money being pumped into our economy and with that lowering our taxes a lot. Our biggest problem in this country is money and with m,ore money we open a lot of new doors and opportunities for others. We could open up new jobs for other people, we could lower the food prices in grocery store, the two most important in my opinion is either making homes with the extra funds coming in or feeding the people that have nothing especially if they have children. That is why we should,NO,need to lower the driving age!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was this boy in our neighbourhood called Bob. What made Bob so unique is that I never saw him on the bus on the way to school. This made me wonder how he got to school. I asked him if he teleported to school using his mind. He replied "no". "Don't you go to school?" I asked him, shortly after he replied "I go to school at home." I thought that having all your education at home is a bit weird and backwards, but I probably shouldn't have been so surprised. Bob was a backwards kind of guy. He even spelt his name backwards.

I then tried to think all backwards the way he does, and soon I came up with a brilliant idea; doing everything a normal person does at home at school. Brushing your teeth, getting dressed, going to sleep, eating breakfast and dinner, that sort of thing. I then thought that I should be as imaginative as the advocates of homsechooling, so I named my idea "Schoolhoming".

(Post Voting Period) There are plenty reasons in the world to make marijuana illegal. The first reason is that it is bad for you. Plenty of people develop serious chronic diseases. The next reason is that if you are then a hazard to others. Being high is dangerous, if you need to get high from a plant, then you shouldn't spend money on it. Why not just "get high" on the moment and the excitement. I am high on the moment every time I go into action. Every time I went to play baseball, I was high on the moment and I never had to go and buy a plant! If you are high, then your judgement is clouded and so you are a danger to everyone around you.
