God Exists

(Challenge Period) My opponent must show that Theism is more reasonable than Atheism, and I must show that Atheism is more reasonable than Theism. Thus, the burden of proof will be shared.

The God we will be discussing is the God of Classical Theism. I take it on faith that my opponent will not hold me to the position that I must defend the notion that "nature" does not exist (Spinoza's God for example). No semantics. If one accepts this debate, then we both know what we mean when we speak of God within the context of the debate outline.

My opponent will present a case for Theism in round 1 instead of the first round being for acceptance. In round 4, my opponent will simply put:

"No argument will be posted here, as agreed"

Good luck!

Contradictions do NOT exist

(Challenge Period) I would like to argue that contradictions do not exist. I am seeking an opponent who is willing to argue Con on this topic and who is willing to take this debate to its furthest possible conclusion. I look forward to the discussion.

Definitions:
Contradiction:
1. opposition between two conflicting forces or ideas [1]
2. a statement that is necessarily false [1]
Paradox: a statement that contradicts itself [2]
Exist: have an existence, be extant [3]

School uniforms should be required

(Challenge Period)
Clothing is one of the best ways for kids to express themselves, and with guidlines and rules, students are able to be themselves without being distracting. It's not fair limiting kid's closet because of uncomfortable uniforms, which could actually hurt one's education, because it may not be comfortable enough for the student to be able to pay attention. Uniforms are too strict.

Axioms can be justified without the use of said items.

(Challenge Period)
I leave it up to my opponent to prove that axioms can be justified in a way that doesn't involve the said items (axioms).

In simpler terms, if my opponent can successfully justify the need for axioms without resorting to a single axiom of any kind, then they win. If, however, I prove that their reasoning is based on axioms, then I shall be victorious.

ax·i·om

The Leibnizian Cosmological Argument is Sound

(Challenge Period)

Note: I have attempted to make this debate impossible to accept. Those interested in participating should express their interest in the comments section. If someone does manage to accept this debate without my approval, this shall result in a 7-point loss for this individual.

The The Leibnizian Cosmological Argument (LCA) is Sound.

Definitions:

LCA-

1. Everything that exists has an explanation of its existence, either in the necessity of its own nature or an external cause (Principle of Sufficient Reason).
2. The universe exists.
3. If the universe does have an explanation for its existence, that explanation is God.
4. Therefore, the universe has an explanation of its existence (from 1 and 2).
5. Therefo
