China is going to take over the world.

(Debating Period) This is, in a way a troll debate. I will be arguing in favor that china will be taking over the world in the near future. You will be arguing against this.

I do not actually believe China will take over the world, this is merely for the sake of entertainment, and arguing.

(Debating Period) Round 1 for acceptance.

This is a troll debate. I do not actually believe the resolution. I am merely saying it for the sake of argument, and entertainment.

<>Profanity allowed

You will be arguing that people SHOULD be allowed to have names longer than 4 characters.

VOTING CATEGORY'S "SOURCES", "AGREED WITH BEFORE", AND "AGREED WITH AFTER" ARE TO BE CHANGED TO *HILARITY POINTS*. BASICALLY THOSE POINTS GO TO WHOEVER WAS THE FUNNIEST.

Being a Fatty is Worse than Being a Ginger

(Voting Period)
BRING. IT. ON.

I purposely challenged MassiveDump seeing that not only is he the most famous ginger on DDO but he would know what being a ginger is like more than most of us!

This is a troll debate!

Telling the truth is not required, but let's at least try to make it relative to being fat or being a ginger. No going, "EMEMGERD FAT PEOPLE ARE FLYING ALIENSFRFROM MARZ THEREFORE THEY ARE BETTER." Or anything like that! Let's keep it real bro.

Innapropriate language is also allowed!

First round is for acceptance.

Note to all viewers: this debate may be found offensive, especially to fat people and gingers. Viewer discretion is adviced. And don't say I didn't warn you.

(Post Voting Period) Thank you for accepting my debate. You may begin, but in round 4 just put "no argument will be posted here, as agreed" instead of an actual round. This debate is solely based off who can be more random.

Rules:

1) Please keep it moderately clean.

2) You may only have 1 paragraph of randomness.. ( 5 sentences max)

America is NOT obese.

(Voting Period) Everybody says that America is a country full of obese slobs, correct? I don't believe that to be true. I walk down the street every day, and through my school every day, and I hardly see any overweight people at all. Sure, there are some kids who could do with a diet, but that doesn't make all of America fat. Does it?

Paint-touching doofuses should be put into a mental institution.

(Challenge Period)
There you are, next to a wall. It has recently been painted and is unset (apparently) and you're wondering whether it's actually wet, so you test it out. You touch the wall to see if it is.

Are you out of your mind?

Getting your hands all mucky with wet paint is something you want to avoid. So, why touch the wall? If it's wet, then you look like a doofus because now you've got wet paint on your hand. If it's not wet, then you look like a doofus because in anyone else's eyes, you've just randomly decided to touch a wall.

I understand that this ludicrous scenario is fairly common, but I propose that anyone who touches a wall to see if the paint is dry is mentally insane and should therefore be put into a mental institution.

So that's what I'd like to debate today. I hope for a good debate.

I thank you.

Resolution

The full resolution for this debate is as follows: "In standard Chess, the one who plays White has an inherent advantage over the one who plays Black."

II.
We should modify beaches to make the sand lower in density so that the obese sink.

(Post Voting Period)
There you are, sitting in your brand new deck chair with your robotic pet when all of a sudden this whale of a humanoid starts waddling along in a bikini that's three billion sizes too small. That's put you off food for a few years.

You wish you could get that chocolate-chasing boulder of blubber would get out of the way, because now you've forgotten what the sun even looks like. Is it square? Is it purple? Is it visibly in motion? You don't know. This crisp-crunching menace is blocking your view and has been doing said thing for about three years, because chocolate-chasers move about as fast as a dead tortoise.

In all that time you have to think, you get a great scientific and sophisticated idea! "Why not modify beaches to make the sand lower in density so that the obese sink?" You think to yourself. That would make everyone's life more pleasent.

So that's what I'd like to debate today,

Who would win in a fight, t-rex or batman?

(Post Voting Period) Batman is the obvious choice to win in this cage match. Batman has countless numbers of different skills and tools that will help to overcome the challenge of the t-Rex. Batman can protect a whole city, a t-Rex is not that big of an obstacle compared to bane for example. Batman will always prevail in this battle!

I would be more harmed than you if we broke up.

(Post Voting Period) Resolution: I would be more harmed than you if we broke up

Both parties share burden of proof. We can only use quoted song lyrics to make our case (sentence fragments are ok but complete sentences are better) and must cite the song and artist for each lyric. We can't use a lyric from a song already used.

Opening arguments:
If things should ever turn out wrong and all the love we have is gone, it won't be easy on that day. [1] Do you remember when we met? Thats the day I knew you were my pet. I want to tell you how much I love you. [2] My heart was wrapped in clover the night I looked at you. And I found a dream that I could speak to- a dream to call my own. I found a thrill to press my cheek to- a thrill that I have never known. You smile and the spell was cast and here we are in heaven. [3] You're my world, my heart, my soul. If you ever leave, baby you would take away everything good in my life. Without you there'd be no sun in my sky. There would be n

My opponent is better than I am

(Post Voting Period) I will be debating that my opponent (whoever that may be) is better than I am. My opponent is arguing that they are not indeed better than me, and maybe even that I am better. This is NOT a serious debate!!

"Better" can mean a numerous amount of things, such as debating, or even just at life.
We will both have the burden of proof here.

Better:
That which has greater excellence or is preferable or wiser: the better of two choices.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/better
My opponent and I will each be trying to prove that the other is superior. It doesn't matter who actually is, just who debates it better.

First round acceptance. It won't count towards the voting. Good luck and I look forward to this fun debate!

(Post Voting Period)
In this debate, I will argue my superiority in the skills required to survive and win the hunger games if, and only if, my opponent was only Skrone, a fellow DDO member.

The rules are as follows:
1. No false information
2. 4 Rounds, 1st is for acceptance.
3. We will use the 1st Arena used in the Hunger Games novels as the setting if the question arises.

I look forward to this Debate

(Post Voting Period)
Many people on this site know about me and Danielle's same-sex parenting debate, in which she won by a large margin and I accused her of using dishonest arguments (lawyering, strawmen, etc) in order to gain victory.

In case you haven't, here's the link: [http://debate.org/debates/Homosexual-couples-can-raise-children-just-as-well-as-heterosexual-couples./1/]

I accuse her of avoiding the resolution, misinterpreting my arguments, lying about my burden of proof, repeating arguments that had no bearing on the debate, and assigning absurd burdens of proof on things that should require none.
Evolution is the wrong idea

(Post Voting Period) evolution is the theory of how we are created. I think this argument should be about why evolution is the wrong idea. my argument is that evolution is wrong because God created us and I am against what other people think. we get the wrong idea of how we are made and we say what what other people thought. it is wrong to say that we are made from monkeys and that the earth is billions of years old. the bible even solves the question before the argument is raised and I quote "In the beginning God" and that's all you need to know. In the beginning God created us, crafted us, made the earth, and everything else in our universe. but people look to the answer and say that its too simple we need something that makes sense. the problem is the sense is right in front of them and they pass on and keep looking. my argument is that god made us and everything anyone else says is not in my life.
