No God = No Purpose

KU93
studentathletechristian8

Religion for most provides purpose in life. I myself belong to the religion of islam. There comes a time in a person's life, where they ask the questions; "What is the purpose of life?" or "Why are we here?" You might be amazed to learn, that Islam is providing clear and concise answers for these questions. Most of those who reflect or think about life in any detail will consider and ponder these questions. There are as many different answers to these questions as there are people asking...

It is in LeBron James best interest to leave the Cleveland

Loserboi
studentathletechristian8

It's time, after 7 years they never even got close to winning a championship. LeBron James needs to use his skill while he's in his prime to win with a better team that can offer more players that can back up LeBron James. Teams like Miami, Chicago, and New Jersey can offer that. LeBron James has to do too much of the work in Cleveland because let's face it their entire system revolves around LeBron James getting the ball. The last playoff game that ended their season against Boston, LeBron Jame...

Ore_Ele
studentathletechristian8

As you all should have heard by now. Arizona has recently passed an immigration law. While this law is not prefect and not complete, it is a step in the right direction. I want this to be a debate on the actual issue. I'm sure that if someone wants they could find semantical arguments or individual words in the law that could be improved. But let's have a go....

From a Christian standpoint, followers of the Jewish faith cannot enter heaven after death.

studentathletechristian8
BellumQuodPacis

I thank my opponent and the audience in advance for the opportunity to debate. I negate the resolution, "From a Christian standpoint, followers of the Jewish faith cannot enter heaven after death." The "Christian standpoint" is the stance that believes in the Holy Bible of the Christian God and follows the teachings of Jesus Christ. The "followers of the Jewish faith" simply refers to people that are religiously Jewish. The "heaven after death" is pretty self-explanatory. For this de...

Jeopardy - The Game Show

studentathletechristian8
Teleroboxer

The topic of this discussion regards the game show, "Jeopardy." The resolution of the debate shall be, "On balance, it is more detrimental than beneficial to require contestants of Jeopardy to answer in the form of a question." I affirm the mentioned resolution. I propose that it would be better for contestants simply to respond with the actual answer rather than having to put the response in a question format. This initial round shall simply serve as a welcome for my opponent to acc...
