What does man gain from all his labor in under the sun?...Remember also thy Creators in days of thy youth, While that the evil days come not, Nor the years have arrived, that thou sayest, 'I have no pleasure in them.'... Jesus is the Jewish Messiah

Truth_seeker
1Devilsadvocate

I will argue for how Jesus is the Jewish Messiah within the Scriptures and other Jewish writings. We will conduct a series of debates on the deity of Jesus Christ. I will first note some vital details on the sources i will use before i begin. The Septuagint is a translation of the Hebrew Scriptures by Jewish scholars to a Greek translation dating to the 2nd century B.C.E. It should be noted that it is centuries earlier than the Masoretic text which removes messianic references to Jesus. The...

We will each have 4 rounds to argue, Pro will begin with opening arguments in Round 1, and give closing arguments in round 4. Con will begin in round 2, and end in round 5....

This is an extract from an op-ed article entitled "Like Cowards, Jews Hide Their Identity in Europe" which was published by Israel National News: "Almost a quarter of the Jews from nine European countries avoid visiting Jewish places and wearing Jewish symbols. The incredible survey that showed this was conducted by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. Now, in the tolerant, liberal and democratic West, Jews are dying because of their own indolence and complacency in the face of d...

God broke his promise to Abraham and the Bible admits it

As a Bible skeptic, I love debating Bible issues to show fallacies in the Bible so I would love to get into a debate about the reliability of of the Biblical God's promises. After all, if He cannot be relied on for one promise, how can he be trusted on any promise? This is for Bible believers only. First round is for acceptance and I will go ahead and put a little info out there. God promised this to Abraham: The LORD said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, "Lift up your eyes from where yo...
