About Me: | I am a post High School debater who wishes for a good debate within reasonable limits. |
Beliefs: | I am a Christian, specifically Southern Baptist in upbringing, but more non-denominational now. I believe the Bible to be the only true source of metaphysical matters. John Locke's social contract should extend to limited government, that only defends its citizens, upholds necessary laws, and collects the minimum amount of taxes necessary to do these things. I believe the Great Conversation (Plato's euphemism for debate and intelligent conversation) should be unimpeded, enforced by the participants, not banned, span across all topics pertinent to this universe, and be free of dogmatism, clouded judgement, stubbornness without facts, etc. This sums up all the beliefs necessary to understand where I come from. |
Books: | Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov. The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. |
Movies: | The Matrix. Saving Private Ryan. Wreck it Ralph. All the Start Wars movies (except Episode 2, gah Episode 2). Interstellar. Apollo 13. Can't think of anything else right now, will come up with more later. |
Music: | Twenty One Pilots, Coldplay, Bastille, EDEN, Imagine Dragons, One Republic, Owl City, Lana Del Rey, Mumford & Sons, Justin Timberlake, Queen, Eagles, Ed Sheeran, Alan Walker. All over the map. |
Sports Teams: | Seattle Seahawks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Seattle Mariners, QPR. |
TV Shows: | I don't really watch TV. At all. So fav YTers are Markiplier, kandyrew, Cinema Sins, Dude Perfect, Casey Neistat, Braille Skateboarding, Skeckles, gameranx, Generikb, IHE. |
Germany Could Have Won World War I

Full ResolutionGermany could have won WWI.Debate TypeThis is meant to be a historical war debate. As such, the following rules apply:1. The only weapons that may be used are weapons made before the time under consideration. If a weapon was developed in the middle of the war in question, it may not be used until the time it was created.2. While war is extremely complicated to analyze, debaters must make the best attempt possible at recreating all of the conditions. This means that all decisions m...

At 16 you can drive a car, which is a VERY responsible behavior, why not vote, drink, and have all legal rights at the age of 16. ...
Jesus isn't the son of God

Jesus isn't son of God because God can't have sons. That would imply that there is a whole family of gods up there. And if there's a family there should be a community too and world's? So the logic that God has sons is illogical....

Cyber bullying isn't really that big of an issue

Hello there, today I will be doing another new argument. As you can tell by the title, it's about how cyber bullying is honestly not a big deal and won't seriously affect your life. Here's why, -Most of the time when someone cyber bullies you, they don't even know you in real life -Most of the time Cyber Bullying is literally just calling someone curse words or just insulting them in a very cliche'd and repetitive way. -Most of the Cyber Bullying videos say how Cyber Bullying can effect...
