I make this my statement: That absolute objective morality is impossible without God. Without God, there is only relative morality. I'm sure most people who read this will agree "Murder is wrong." But my question for you is this: How do you know? Debate Rules: 1. Political correctness goes out the window. 2. I will only debate an atheist. I will not "preach to the choir." 3. Okay. Welcome to this debate. This time we will have a short story competition. You have 3 days to write a story, with a maximum of 10000 characters. No copying short stories from other debate.org members or form real authors (e.g. William Faulkner, Nathaniel Hawthorne) Let's go!...

You believe that eating animals is morally acceptable, based on 'Reason A'. Step 4: If someone else used 'Reason A' to justify one of their actions, would you also find it morally acceptable? Example: "Mark eats new born babies, because h...

The second amendment is essential to a state that will ultimately prosper. My position is simple, if a state does not enforce some sort of second amendment-esque law, it could become corrupt and fall into anarchy. Feel free to argue against me....
