In the United States, as across the world, college is depicted to children from the early years of elementary learning as the only path to success. I believe that this is an intentional way to misguide children into a system in which they are one in many, instead of one of many. Intelligence should not be determined by a piece of paper that says bachelors degree, or one that says high school diploma.
