About Me:I am a naturally introverted person, gaining comfort from relaxing alone rather than going to hang out with friends. In fact, it feels draining to go out to a party or something along those lines, due to the fear of becoming the center of attention, fear that I won't be accepted, and general discomfort of being in a large crowd. I am a very analytical person who desires meaningful conversations about the world and our society. I never achieve this in my life, which is the main reason why I decided to join this website. My creativity is thought to be above average which is why I decide to paint and draw a lot.
Activities:Sketching, painting, reading, watching Youtube videos, questioning my existence, etc. I don't get out much so I don't really play sports.
Beliefs:Everyone is entitled to do whatever they want with their ideas and body, so long as it does not harm others. I don't like to stand for a particular political group (mostly because politicians are all talk and nothing more) but I would say i'd probably be on the left.
Books:I don't read much, but so far I like classic books like Fahrenheit 451, Catch-22, The Outsiders, Of Mice and Men, etc. (Also Private Peaceful.)
Movies:Mostly animated stuff (Disney and Pixar especially.)
Music:Although it is ridiculous, I really enjoy songs from musicals (Heathers the Musical, Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton, Book of Mormon, and Be More Chill.)
Quotes:"The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination." -Einstein

"We cannot, of course, disprove God, just as we can't disprove Thor, fairies, leprechauns and the Flying Spaghetti Monster." -Richard Dawkins
Sports Teams:N/A
TV Shows:Bojack Horseman, Rick and Morty, South Park (see the trend yet?) Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, etc. (unlikely that I'll watch something that isn't animated.)

Children Are Born in Ignorance -- Believers in atheist Dogma Remain So, Unto Death

Human and animal babies are born in ignorance: They can't control their bowel movements, they can't tie their shoes, they can't communicate with human language, and they don't know any facts about God. As human babies of normal intelligence grow and mature, they learn all of these things from more mature, wiser, intelligent human beings. The believer in atheist Dogma resists this human education process, and remains on the exact same intellectual platform as the messy-diapered babies and t...

Does Corporal Punishment do more Bad than Good?

There are four rounds, each argument with a limitation of 10,000 characters. You have 72 hours for each argument, and I want to see good points. For each argument you may start by responding to the previous points made, then a new argument (only make 1-3 arguments each round, but responses are unlimited.) I will be arguing that corporal punishment is mostly negative, and that it isn't a practical way to discipline a child.Corporal punishment includes (but is not limited to) spanking, slapping an...

Does Christianity Actually Teach Hate and Bigotry?

To start this off, I am an Atheist from a Roman-Catholic family. I had stopped believing in religion when I was about 11-12 and I had no doubts that there was something wrong with the religion. When I started looking for things related to Athiesm I began to see the hateful messages in Christianity and the horrifying acts that religion in general has caused to this world. I would consider myself an anti-theist, but it isn't like I hate all religious people (mostly because they take up a majority...

Should Separation of Church and State be more Heavily Enforced? (US)

This debate will include three rounds, which will be organized as the following: Round 1: Both sides will present their argument. Round 2: Both will respond to the others argument. Round 3: Present second argument. Round 4: Response to the opposing argument. Round 5: Both will leave concluding statements. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beginning Argument: I believe that freedom in America is being slowly pulled back from the lack of attention to the separation of church and state. I have pe...

Is [The Christian] God Omnipotent and Omniscient?

I personally do not believe in god, but I find it silly that religious people (especially Christians) describe him as a perfect being. There is evidence of him changing his mind, and not doing things that could easily fix problems that he himself had caused. For example, in Genesis he was walking through the Garden of Eden and had no idea that Adam and Eve had already sinned. (He even asked them where they were.) " And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of...
