About Me: | Almost entirely White (save for a sliver of Native American), Male, Cisgendered, Heterosexual, Middle Class, Non-Feminist, Now tell me my opinions since that's all you need to know about me to have a complete grasp of my worldview. But for real now: I'm someone who doesn't like to use labels all that much - I see the damage that identity politics can do to someone's mind, it makes them extremely tribal psychopaths. On the political compass test I was put in the 'libertarian liberal' quadrant, pretty much right it the center of it. I supported Gamergate when it happened and I still remain critical of the phenomenon that sparked its formation. I believe that the next generation isn't being given the facts and that they are being indoctrinated into a way of thinking that makes them emotionally dependent on activism and many of them ashamed of themselves because of their culture, race and sex. I am extremely concerned and I try to do my part to prevent this from hurting anyone else. |
Activities: | Gaming, Reading, YouTube, Going outside every other day, Microsoft Paint and DDO when I should be working, Watching 'Peep and the Big Wide World' with my niece, Trying to find the dish that will finally give me a heart attack, Long walks on the beach in the light of the full moon. |
Beliefs: | Treat people the way you want to be treated, Everyone has a right to express their opinion, As a general rule, let people do what they want so long as they don't hurt anyone. |
Books: | The Foundation series, The Chronicles of Narnia, We Die Alone, Animal Farm, 1984, All Quiet On The Western Front, Lord of the Flies, my school yearbooks (a great source of entertainment), Fahrenheit 451, Pastwatch: The Redemption of Christopher Columbus, Robinson Crusoe, The Count of Monte Cristo, War of the Worlds, The Invisible Man, The Time Machine, Swiss Family Robinson, The Great Gatsby, A Farewell to Arms, The Call of the Wild, White Fang, The Green Mile, To Kill a Mocking Bird |
Music: | Claude Debussy, Erik Satie, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, The Pillows, Most classical music and 20's jazz I like as well. |
Sports Teams: | I don't really like sports, but I suppose I favor my local teams (Seahawks, Mariners, Sounders) over other teams for the arbitrary reason that the city they're based out of is closer to me than others. |
TV Shows: | Star Trek is love, Star Trek is life. |

Inside Out is a better movie than Big Hero 6

- 1st round accept - 2nd round opening argument - 3rd round rebuttal - 4th round counter rebuttal Don't introduce new arguments in the 3rd and 4th rounds please. I've seen both movies and while neither of them are bad, I think that Inside out was the better movie out of the two. By "better" I mean overall, not technically, or how much money each movie grossed, or story. This isn't really a 'hard' debate because at the end of the day it's just your opinion, so just find what's good about...
