About Me:A simple guy from Pittsburgh that currently lives in State College, PA.
Activities:Amateur astronomy, astrophotography, comparative religion.
Beliefs:I'm a secular humanist and agnostic. I don't have a problem with the faith of others, so long as: 1. They don't use their faith to justify harm upon others. 2. They don't use their faith to influence science and legislation. Moral situationalist. I believe in law and order, but there are times when I get so fed up with everyone's political bullshit that I'd love nothing more than to sit back and watch it all burn.
Movies:2001: A Space Odyssey, Alien, Last of the Mohicans, There Will Be Blood, Oblivion, and any movie with a guy running around in a rubber kaiju suit.
Music:Rush, Opeth, Yes, Pink Floyd, Animals As Leaders, Scale the Summit, Amplifier, Porcupine Tree are my top bands, but I love ambient, jazz, and classical.
Quotes:We have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.
Sports Teams:Penguins. Steelers. Pirates. Flyers suck.
TV Shows:MST3K, The West Wing, Northern Exposure.
