Due to possible scenarios I identify as pro-choice. If we don't know what the situation or circumstances are, it's not our place to prevent somebody from receiving an abortion. Abortion is a highly personal issue that should be discussed and finalized with a doctor, not intruded on by the government unless they committed an extremely late term abortion.

For the most part I'm highly against it due to the fact you risk murdering an innocent person, but if the crime committed was malicious enough with strong evidence it got committed, then the death penalty may actually be necessary! I'm a moderate on this issue, but mostly against it

Regardless of possessing both pros and cons, free trade has been proven to drive economic growth, and there's a reason most economist support it. It benefits other countries as well!

In my opinion, not allowing it is a violation of human rights and there's no actual reason not to accept gay rights considering the LGBT community is made up of people who are just as human everybody else and deserve to live freely. Opposing gay rights is equivalent to imposing your own personal religious authority on others, even though there's a lot people who don't follow any religion. Let's not forget that being gay wasn't actually a choice so discrimination against those people wouldn't make sense.

I actually tend to be highly moderate on this issue, but for the most part I'm rather supportive of it. Guns typically get in the wrong hands and are used by the wrong people, but as long as background checks are being placed there's not much of a reason to intrude on this right. There's been several violent crimes that occurred due to guns, but unless a person can provide me with evidence that toughen controls would work I'll remain supportive, but moderate, on the issue.

As much as I'm highly against smoking cigarettes, it's not really my place to force somebody to quit. Although I'm highly supportive of helping the individual combat their addiction, actually banning it would intrude on individual liberties and it's not the governments place to regulate it on an extreme level. If you're going to ban tobacco, at least get it decriminalized!

Social programs insure poor people and the mentally ill receive the help and support they need. I'm not actually the biggest fan of the method people try to use, but at least some type of social safety net should get placed to prevent people from suffering or dying. Some of these people are in a situation we probably know nothing about, and mentally ill people aren't always in stable condition to hold onto a job.
