About Me:I'm a young college student who hails from a rural, north-central Missouri community. I'm a speech communication major at the University of Central Missouri at Warrensburg with a minor in creative writing. I am a former member of the UCM Talking Mules debate squad and have been debating competitivly since 2005. I enjoy a multitude of subjects from history to art, but my main focus of interest is on the growth and development of human society.
Activities:Martial Arts
Beliefs:I consider myself a moderate conservative. I sway liberally on many social issues such as abortion, gay marriage, and the legalization of marijuana, however, am very conservative when it comes to political issues such as taxes, military spending, and the size of government. I'm a devout Christian, but don't take the Bible as being word for word accurate. I uphold the two major tennants of Christ which are to uphold the Golden Rule and to follow in his path.

Isn't it obvious? She hates gays, Jews, Catholics and anyone that isn't as "Pure" as her. Her arguments are crappy, and she needs mental help as quickly as possible. She has no merit and people only buy her book to laugh at her....

I would like to begin my opening argument by first saying that I in no way find The Civil War to be an unimportant part of American history. I just do not like the fact that in many history classes today, as well as in American society in general, The Civil War is given greater emphasis. I mean, honestly, let's face it people without The American Revolution all of the rest of American history would have been different. The opening chapters of novels set the stage for the rest of the book. Imagin...
