Consciousness Could've Happened by Mistake


Cells are not conscious beings, at least as far as we understand. But yet they still work in a complex system. Animals which have a lesser consciousness than us can still catch things, and they are able to jump from branch to branch. As far as we are aware, our consciousness developing could be just as random as the universe developing.
