I am arguing that America was not founded as, nor is now, a definitely Christian nation. The founding father's ideologies towards religion were quite ambivalent and deist in nature - not Christian. I would love to hear an argument against this statement....

Intellectual_Perplexion

Hello, this is my first real debate on this site so I'm a little nervous to see how it goes. I must warn my opponent that I am a Christian and as such will not be afraid to mention the moral aspect of this issue. I am taking the Con side in this debate and I intend to prove to my opponent that abortion is disgraceful human murder and should be stopped! I also want to prove that the baby's right to life goes before the mother's right to choose. From the moment of conception the baby in the womb...

Intellectual_Perplexion
MrCarroll

I am not gay. I have friends who are gay and wish to marry. I fully support them. I would like to hear arguments which show how gay marriage effects other people or society as a whole. I shall let me opponent go first....

Intellectual_Perplexion

"The game" in this debate is the common meme mind game. [1] The first rule of the game is, "Everyone in the world is playing The Game. A person cannot not play The Game; it does not require consent to play and one can never stop playing." However, the game does not have the authority to make this rule/claim true. For example. I can say, "all the money in your bank account is now mine." But that does not make it true. Just like saying "everyone is playing the game" does not make it true....

Pro. "Trade barriers are chiefly injurious to the countries imposing them." John Stuart Mill I agree with this quote and say yes having trade barriers in our country wouldn't help our economy or our country's well being so yes we should absolutely value Free trade over protectionism my value for this debate is our country's welfare and my criterion for this debate is Free Trade. And I will prove that free trade upholds our country's welfare through two points the economy and history of prot...
