About Me:A former solider and Iraq War Veteran, who has gone from the most staunch Bush supporter to the most emotional Bush critic, I base my perspective on politics on one simple question: What would Jesus Do? Jesus would not shove God's word down an atheist's throat, he would open his arms to him/her and let him/her choose. No I'm not a conservative Republican, but I used to be. No I'm not a liberal Democrat either. I don't believe in double standards. I can't see why a muslim is a muslim. But how can I call myself an American an not defend that muslims right to be a muslim? I can't. I am also mature enough to know that even though flag burning offends me, it's a first amendment right; a first amendment right that I should support obligatory. Why is racism even an issue? I only see one race, the human race. We are all God's children, who should all get an unquestioned fair share. Nobody should be left behind. Who should care about a couple of extra skin pigments?
Activities:Auto Racing, Baseball, Football, Soccer
Beliefs:God is my bread and butter, and yet I'm against everything the religious right does. It is clear that they do nothing that reflects God or the teachings of Jesus? If Bush was a true believer why did he go to war to kill God's children when Jesus said to love your enemies? For Profit, not God. I am a person who believes that many people are in a 2-Dimensional mind set. For example: Capitalism or Socialism? You only see people talk about the goods about the one they support and the evils of the other. How about neither?! How about regulation of commerce dictated not by the government, but by the people. Grab the politian by the ballot, and make decisions based on your needs rather than that of a corporation or government. The two do it for greed anyway and did Jesus say you can't serve both God and Money? I believe people only know what the powerful want them to know. And I believe that the people have a right to know and the powerful have no right to power.
