The "zero tolerance" policy in US schools is an unacceptable force in schools today.

Since its Congressional approval in 1994, the "zero-tolerance" policy has received much heat. This zero tolerance policy originally stated that any student at a federally funded school must receive the punishment of expulsion for bringing fire arms onto school property. Since its original introduction, the policy has expanded in some places to include drugs, alcohol, aggression (cursing, violence, etc.), knives, and other infractions.
