About Me:Oh this will be long haha :) - I'm an INFJ (The Protector personality type) and while some people believe it is stupid to associate yourself with a personality group, I feel that it can be helpful in finding ways to explain your traits (as long as you don't let it define you). I feel that looking at a generic profile of the INFJ personality type helps me explain things about myself that I can't find the words to explain. If you don't know yours I suggest taking the Myers-Briggs personality test in my links below and also taking a look at the INFJ portrait in the links below :D. I'm a really kind person and I love all people (except I tend to not like ignorant people XD). If you ever just need to talk to someone I can listen and give advice :) as long as you aren't messaging me because you think I'm "hot" or something. I find that very disrespectful and degrading..
Activities:In regards to high school activities I am actively in Knowledge Bowl, WE Team (an active group working to help organizations fund projects to make life for people in third world countries easier), ART Team, and I am no longer in GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) because the group was terminated after the advisor got a teaching job at another school. Outside of school I have a passion for reading, writing, drawing, watching Netflix (...I dabble...), and most importantly-learn new things. I'm a person who is driven to constantly learn new things (doesn't normally matter what those things are). It has gotten hard to do the things I love though because now that I'm a junior in high school, I have devoted my soul to CIS (College in the Schools) classes that keep me working every moment of my life. :/
Beliefs:I could rant continuously about my beliefs, but all you truly need to know is three things: (1) I'm pro-choice for most ethical issues, (2) I strongly believe everyone is equal and shouldn't be mistreated for what they believe, and (3) no one is justified when they force their beliefs onto someone else. People can believe whatever they want- it DOESN'T affect you so don't force them to do anything in accordance to your beliefs. KINDNESS IS AN AMAZING THING- a lot of people just choose to forget about it.
Books:Due to the fact that the majority of my life involves learning and intellect, I tend to lean towards loving teen fiction sci-fi/dystopian/romance stories because it offers a break and entertainment (plus I'm just a sucker for sweet moments and awesome unrealistic stuff). But here is a list XD: Escape From Furnace (series), The Mortal Instruments (series), Impulse, Article 5 (trilogy), Divergent (trilogy), Artemis Fowl (series), Exile and the Kingdom (short stories), and MANGAAAAA (my favorite is Fruit's Basket because of the amazing life messages within it and the characters and everythingggg and how sweet and funny it is, but also the fact that it is super dark too and just ahhhhhhhhh). I also like To Kill a Mockingbird and some other classics :D
Movies:Good Will Hunting....I don't know why but every single profile I every make that asks me this goes blank because I can never remember my favorite movies...OH! Tarzan is one too. I'm a sucker for the story line, graphics, and soundtrack XD
Music:Basically almost anything rock or associated with rock music (like punk, etc- but I count all of those sub-genres as rock). :O I really do like Mayday Parade, The Fray, Papa Roach, Breaking Ben, Skillet, Five Finger Death Punch, Ed Sheeran, The Goo Goo Dolls, Lifehouse, One Republic, Paramore, Rise Against, SafetySuit, Shinedown, Switchfoot, Three Days Grace, Theory of a Deadman, Volbeat, 3 Doors Down, 10 Years, and many other bands and artists not listed :]
Quotes:"I was quiet, but my eyes gave away the words my mouth wouldn't speak."
"There are wounds that never show on the body that are deeper and more hurtful than anything that bleeds." -Laurell K. Hamilton
"Everything's an art form, but I always seem to have the wrong paint brushes or a shaky hand."
"You will end up real disappointed if you go through life thinking people have the same heart as you."
"I learned that people can easily forget that others are human." -prisoner from the Stanford prison experiment
"I know it's not good to be weak and helpless. But I don't think it's good to be too strong either. In our society, they talk about survival of the fittest. But we're not animals. We're human." -Fruit's Basket
"Because even the smallest of words can be the ones to hurt you, or save you." -Fruit's Basket
""I feel my own emotions. I feel the emotions of everyone around me..I feel emotions from my past as vividly as though they were happening right now. I feel everything."
Sports Teams:Although I do like watching sports like football and hockey on occasions, I don't really have a specific bias towards any of them though. I'll put up quotes from songs that I'm obsessed with lately though :D "Twenty years, it's breaking you down/ now that you understand there's no one around/ Take a breath, just take a seat/ you're falling apart and tearing at the seams/ Heaven forbid you end up alone, you don't know why/ Hold on tight, wait for tomorrow, you'll be alright" Heaven Forbid, The Fray "Took a tip from a rodeo show/ Get a grip or you're gonna get thrown/ Take your aim when you take a shot/ For the man under you will take everything you got/ Take the pills that they give you mornings/ Spit them out when they aren't looking/ Keep a smile but you burn it hot/ It's a mad, mad, world" Hotblack, Oceanship
TV Shows:Some of my favorite shows include House, Scrubs, Bates Motel, River Monsters, and Friends. I also love anime such as Fruit's Basket, Your Lie in April, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Attack On Titan, Bleach, Soul Eater, and many others (^.^) and POKEMONNNNN

Stem cell research on all types of stem cells should be completely legal

The first round will be to establish acceptance, our position, and any basic definitions. Also, in the very last part of Round 3, rebuttals may be made, but the last person cannot provide new points. I will be Pro for this argument and my opponent will be Con. Stem cell research is the study of stem cells to provide us with medical information about early human development and stem cell differentiation. Stem cell research also has the potential to cure numerous different incurable diseases, b...
