About Me:Hello, my name's Maisie Torr (if you couldn't tell), I live in Northern England and I'm a rather opinionated 15 year old. I have green eyes, curly brown hair and stand at an unimpressive 5'2. I'd love it if you chose to debate with me over any issue that I'd know about (so not American politics because I know nothing) but please no swearing or insulting because it turns the debate into a childish fight and know I will end the debate if it goes on long enough. Finally PLEASE DON'T BE OFFENDED! I know I can be quite blunt and sarcastic at times but I'm a big softie underneath it all so please tell me if I've hurt your feelings and I will explain myself and apologize!
Activities:I love drama! I'm in a youth amature dramatics club at my local theatre and putting on shows is my favourite thing to do!
Beliefs:I'm a feminist, I believe that women's rights is still something we need to fight for but the sexism men face in society cannot be ignored either! I'm pro-choice, I think it's rather obvious that a woman should do as she wishes with her own body but that seems like a hard idea to grasp for some. I'm an atheist, a vegetarian, and LGBTQA+ rights activist and a lot more but I won't bore you any longer!
Books:1984 by George Orwell without a doubt! I also love Animal Farm by him, Les Miserables by Victor Hugo and the Harry Potter Series! I know the last one seems like an odd one out but it brings me back to my childhood every time!
Movies:Probably The Avengers or another Marvel film... Maybe Captain America and the Winter Soldier?
Music:My music taste changes all the time! At the moment, I really like Ezra Furman and Belle and Sebastian. However, I will always love the classics of Queen, Blondie, The Beatles, etc...
Quotes:'Freedom is the right to tell people what they don't want to hear.' - George Orwell
Sports Teams:Not very sporty but I do like a bit of rugby (I support the Sale Sharks and England during the six Nations) and I'll always cheer Team GB along in the Olympics.
TV Shows:Anything nerdy and/or from the BBC. Sherlock, Doctor Who, Downton Abbey...

Should the bible be law for the US?

The bible, the benevolent God's holy words which founded America and created the world's only surviving superpower and is praised and hailed all across the United States as the country's religion. But, despite this ancient book and religion being part of the National anthem, essential for Presidency and a huge part of everyday life why isn't it law? Many would argue that this needs to happen, but when these people want the bible to be law, they have to realise they can't just cherry-pick the goo...
