George Bush is a good president

policydebategod
Phil

George Bush has destroyed our nation. 1. He implimented No Child Left Behind, overcrowding our good schools and still leaving our bad schools to be bad. 2. He created the Iraq War for the purpose of finding weapons of mass destruction, stopping terrorism, and promoting democracy. They vote, they have no WMDs, and terrorism will NEVER be stopped, and Iraq has nothing to do with it. 3. He lowered out economy significantly, lower than most African nations. 4. He raised gas prices, making tr...

Mac is more user friendly and more efficient than a PC

tahoe8

I used a PC for about 15 years and 2 years ago, I changed to a Mac. This was a brilliant decision on my part. I recently purchased a PC for my mom and Windows has become so complicated and confusing that I am tempted to return it and get her a Mac (this coming from someone who knew his way around Windows very well). Aside from the obvious luxuries of being able to just plug in my iPod and iPhone, Mac recognizes any device I plug into it and doesn't geive me headaches like a PC did, having to...

Football Is Better Than Baseball

Phil
tahoe8

Football is a better sport than baseball for a host of reasons. First, it's entertaining from start to finish. Second, it requires greater team work, and is more competitive than baseball. And third, football is 1,000 times more manly than baseball....

Hillary Clinton Will Make A Bad President

Phil
wryan

Hillary Clinton would be a horrible president for several reasons: 1. Her economic policies of wealth redistribution will destroy the economy. Furthermore, the second she abolishes capital gains the markets will crash. 2. Her national health care system will lower the quality of health care for all Americans. 3. She has no guiding principles. Instead, she makes policy based on polls and what gives here the best public image. 4. Mrs. Clinton has never managed any organization of signi...

Capitolism

Harlan
Phil

Capitolism creates a tense society where everyone is working for self-promotion. All of our (American) society is based on someone trying to outdo someone else; someone trying to sell something to you; Someone trying to use you for a profit. They see you as a way to make money. Next time your outside in a city, take a look around. Theres billboards trying to use you to make a profit. Theres prople walking around with T-shirts that encourage you to give your money to certain large corporations. W...

The Government Should Not Fund The Arts

Phil
nypuller

The US Government, or any government for that matter, should not be in the business of funding the art industry. For the same reason the government shouldn't fund gas companies or stock brokers, artists should have to prove their worth in the marketplace. Professional artists choose their job like the rest of us (unless you live in a socialistic country). Artists know exactly what the salary and risk is before they choose their profession. The government should not take someone else's hard ea...

George W. Bush is a great President

Phil
Cristy

George W. Bush is a great President, and has served the U.S. honorably. While there appears to be significant outrage by a majority of Americans, I believe it is in fact a minority whose voices are being hyped by the leftist media. The far left never recovered from Al Gore losing in the 2002 election, and as time has gone on, the leftists in this country have done everything possible to find fault with President Bush. Despite the fake outrage portrayed by the media, President Bush in fact a grea...

River Rafting Should Not Be Regulated

Phil
Nate

The wild rivers of the USA belong to the people, not to environmental advocates or park rangers. If a group of people want to raft down one of America's rivers, they should not be required to get a permit. Common sense, general safety rules, and environmental care should be used instead....

Man-Made Global Warming Is A Hoax

Phil
qtpi2008

Global warming is turning into the biggest hoax in the last 100 years. It is the child of anti-american thinkers who, given the chance, will use it to harm the US' economy and strength in the world. Liberal politicians are pushing global warming as a means of control. If enough people believe in global warming, then the government will have greater control over what we drive, eat, and even how we live our lives. Let's not forget they'll be able to tax us into oblivion because we're "destroyin...
