About Me:Hello! It's Ryan. I'm a pretty laid-back, optimistic, realist who will surprise you with a hidden sarcastic humor. I never follow (except Christ) and I love rainy days, snow days, and sweaty cheese. Shaving is a waste of time and my biggest pet peeve is for those who do not use their turn signal. I'm a teacher by profession, but it's much more than that. My drug is Cleveland Sports (it may be a problem). I love my family, my friends and life...but most of all my beautiful wife!
Activities:Baseball, Basketball, Bowling, Football, Running
Beliefs:I believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, my Savior and Lord. Nuff' said.
Quotes:"I believe in Christianity as I believe the sun has risen; not only because I see it, but by it I see everything else."
~C.S. Lewis~

Do parents have the right to control their kids future?

Ethereal
RMK

OK, ok, i am definetly not saying parents should just let their kids do anything they want, and become drug addicts or thieves, but i am trying to say that YOU should persue a career YOU want to be in. I mean for an example, my friend has a huge dream of becoming a chef, however his mom once was a chef and she didn't like it. If you ask me this violates the ninth amedment, and possibly, the first. (For those who don't know that would basically be freedom itself.) Another example is my dad's mom(...

That the United States of America is a secular nation, and should be kept that way. Religion=Poison.

Iosephos_Cicero
RMK

In recent years there has been a call by many politicians and leading figures in the public eye to make the United States of America a Christian Nation, "Like the forefathers built." Not only is this statement a lie, it is a complete misinterpretations of what the forefathers had intentioned for this country. The mere notion that the United States is/was ever a purely Christian nation is lunacy itself. Also, the notion that the nation as a whole would be better off being a Christian nation, espe...

Barack Obama would NOT be the first black president.

RMK
zakkuchan

"Barack Obama would be the great black hope in the next presidential race -- if he were actually black." ~Debra J. Dickerson~ Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Barack Obama, Sr. (born in Nyanza Province, Kenya)and Ann Dunham, a white American (born in Wichita, Kansas). Now, let me make it clear that I am not opposed to having an African-American president, but I will give credit when credit is due. Being of mixed ethnicity, white mother and black father, Barack Obama is...

Does the possibility of going to Space, void the idea of Heaven?

Retrospace
RMK

Before I begin, I would like to state that this is a two (2) round debate. I would also like to ask who-so-ever accepts this debate to be open minded, and not turn this into an argument about the validation of The Bible, or the existence of a God. This topic, can be very confusing, and I hope that I do make clear on what I'm trying to say. Now on to the debate! Does the possibility of going to space, void the idea of Heaven? I believe it does. I will be pulling from The King James Bib...

The 1969 Moon Landing Was A Complete Hoax

RMK
Lucretius

During my sophomore year of college, I presented a persuasive speech for a Speech course that changed my opinion about one of the biggest "accomplishments" of the 20th century. What I'm about to state may excite you, anger you, make you ponder, or make you think that I have a screw loose... If you stayed up to watch the 1969 moon landing, you saw cinematic magic at its best. That's right, the moon landing was about as real as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. When I originally did the re...
