Slavery was a beneficial institution for both blacks and whites in the south.
American slavery was a good system which met the needs of blacks, and whites, and should have been kept. It was overthrown by Northerners who didn't understand the class structure, or economics of the agricultural south. Slavery gave black people work, and cared for them with plenty of food clothing and shelter. It also met their needs as humans. I'm not close minded to art at all. I think Pollock is a genius, Dali is funny and paints well although his themes suck sometimes, Klee has one of the best uses of colour I've ever seen...
