Quotes:"You are all stardust. You couldn"t be here if stars hadn"t exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution and for life - weren"t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way for them to get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode. So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today." - Lawrence Krauss

Resolved: the Zombie Apocalypse Will Happen

AngelofDeath
Sswdwm

Be it resolved that: the zombie apocalypse will happen. I would like this to be a serious debate, so no trolling please. My only rule is that my opponent cannot use Max Brooks as a legitimate source, since he doesn't have a PhD on zombies. If this does happen, however, I request that voters please take note and vote for me. Format: Round 1, acceptance Round 2, claims Round 3, rebuttals Round 4, rebuild and voting issues Although this is a serious debate, i want all involved t...

Round 1: Acceptance Round 2: Opening arguments, Con may rebut me Round 3: Rebuttals/Arguments Round 4: Rebuttals/Conclusions - No new arguments/brand new rebuttals That is all...

Gay marriage.

Kitalinai
Sswdwm

Okay soo, I don't like having to defend my sexuality. But I always will. Even if it wasn't gay I would defend it. I'm writing a research paper on "Gay Rights". One of the questions I have to answer is "why are people gay" which really confused me. I don't think there is a "set" reason why. So I look it up. & this website comes up. Saying "scientist finally unlock puzzle to why people are gay". As I'm reading through this I look to my friend Shanda Marie Mossholder & say why did I do this subject...

God most likely exists

Sswdwm

Good evening/afternoon/morning/midday, ladies and gentlemen. Sswdwm and I don't always see eye-to-eye on issues, and after having many enjoyable forum debates, we've decided to take it to the real thing. The resolution for this debate shall be...God most likely exists.I shall argue in favor of the resolution, and provide argumentation that God most likely exists. I shall carry the burden to prove the truth of the above statement. My opponent shall have the burden to cast a reasonable amount of d...
