The United States Federal Government should continue to invest in a missle defence system.

repete21

Spiral I noticed you have a 100 percent win ratio and decided I would challenge you, this should be a very interesting debate. A missile defence system is crucial to any country's defense. I will list some of the advantages to a missile defense system. 1- It shows any aggressor that they cannot use an intercontinental ballistic missile -ICBM- against us successfully, which could help to deter any attacks. 2- It helps protect citizens from any possible missile attacks, including chemical...

The Trinity Doctrine: Three Different Persons, All Equally God, All the Same God

Renzzy
PublicForumG-d

Fist of all, I would like to apologize for the unusually long title. I needed more space in order to encompass the topic I would like to discus clearly. Thank you to whoever accepts this debate! The Trinity Doctrine is a rather controversial topic, and there are amy people on both sides of the argument. I believe that The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. I believe that they are all equally God, and that they all make up one God. With that, I will allow my oppon...

If a creator and an opposition force (example: Satan) existed then we should not follow the bible.

Yraelz
PublicForumG-d

I'm going to condense my argument quickly because I do not have much time. If we were to accept the premise that an opposition force to a creator exists and we are also the accept that the creator has created only one religion then it is apparent that it is more likely that Satan has created the bible. Thus we should not follow the bible. Have fun. P.s, apparently I can only challenge you to one debate at a time so I am temporarily canceling the other one while I think about it....

Topic #29: Plea Bargaining should be Banned. (Attempt 2)

Darth_Grievous_42
PublicForumG-d

Topic 29 of Round 2. Darth_Grievous_42 vs PublicForumG-d. To be judged by usernames Evan_MacIan, shaqdaddy34, and dmill2010. As Pro, I will be defending that Plea Bargaining should be banned, thus the polar opposite of my stance that PublicForumG-d will have to defend is that Plea Bargaining should NOT be banned. As I am not well versed in foreign court procedures, I will be arguing from an American Perspective. If my opponent wishes to bring up worldwide cases he is more than welcome to do so,...

Atheism is a belief

PublicForumG-d

I read your debate on "whether or not atheism exists". I thought it was a horrible blow out, in your favor. :) That said, I disagree with your position of atheism as not a faith. Atheism may not be an organized religion, but it is definately a faith. Atheism is "1) the doctrine or belief that there is no God 2) a lack of belief in the existence of God or gods " note: **Belief** that there is no God. My sole contention rests on the fact that it is impossible to prove a ne...

Water Boarding is indeed torture.

left_wing_mormon
PublicForumG-d

I will assume that my opponet has not been water-boarded by the U.S. Military. I can say honestly that I have never been water-boarded. With that being said my opponet and I cannot use personal accounts on this issue. To determine if Water-Boarding is torture, I present two things to ponder. 1: The history of Water-boarding During World War II, Japanese troops, especially the Kempeitai, as well as the Gestapo, the German secret police, used waterboarding as a method of torture. During th...

PublicForumG-d

First off I want to thank CON who ever you may be for excepting this debate. The title it self should be self explanatory so all I need do is provide the question and answer that I am talking about so here it is: Question: How should we pick our next president? Complicated answer: First we must elect the reps for the democrats and the republicans by letting the nominees slowly campaign across the country. Then hold primaries one by one giving each candidate a number of delegates un...
