•	Abortion	ProComments Women have a right to make decisions about issues that affect their bodies and their physical and mental well-being. Nobody else has any business interfering in this space.
•	Affirmative Action	ConComments I agree that all groups should be given the same opportunity to succeed, but I don't think affirmative action, as presently implemented, accomplishes that goal. Unfair discrimination should be aggressively stamped out, but organizations should be free to employ the best candidate for any given role, regardless of that candidate's ethnic background.
•	Animal Rights	ProComments Animals ought to be treated humanely at all times.
•	Barack Obama	N/OComments He's far from perfect, but still better than any other option available.
•	Border Fence	ConComments This will be an ineffective waste of money, if built.
•	Capitalism	N/OComments I don't offer wholesale support for any particular 'ism'. Capitalism does some things well, and some things poorly. The most effective approach, however, is the one not beholden to any one specific ideological view. Flexibility and adaptation is the key, not dogma.
•	Civil Unions	N/OComments Civil unions are fine, but full marriage equality is the only acceptable endgame.
•	Death Penalty	ConComments Death is too simple a punishment for our most heinous criminals. Better to let them sit and slowly die, alone in a cell.
•	Drug Legalization	ProComments People have a right to choose what they do to and with their bodies. Legalize drugs, tax them, and regulate their production and sale to improve safety and prevent/recognize/treat addiction as much as possible.
•	Electoral College	ConComments The electoral college is an anachronism. It's not necessary or beneficial anymore.
•	Environmental Protection	ProComments There only one environment. If we ruin it, we can't get another one.
•	Estate Tax	ConComments The estate tax is double-taxation, plain and simple.
•	European Union	N/OComments Meh. Countries can organize their affairs however they want.
•	Euthanasia	ProComments People have a right to choose when and how they die. And everyone should have the ability to choose a humane death.
•	Federal Reserve	N/O
•	Flat Tax	ProComments Under a flat tax, high earners will still pay more than low earners. 10% of $100,000 is still more than 10% of $10,000. The current "progressive" tax system just punishes people for earning more.

•	Gay Marriage	ProComments Equality for everyone.
•	Global Warming Exists	ProComments Debating climate change is about the same as debating evolution. It's real, it happened, and it's happening today. Get over it.

•	Gun Rights	ConComments Maybe it's just me, but knowing that every random person I walk by may be carrying a gun does not make me feel safer in any way, shape or form. The only reason to have a gun is if you want to kill something. And the vast majority of people have no legitimate need to be killing anything.

•	Internet Censorship	ConComments Information wants to be free. The only people who think otherwise are the ones who have something to hide.
•	Iran-Iraq War	ConComments Immediate national defense is the only justifiable reason for waging war. And it does not apply with Iran or Iraq.

•	Legalized Prostitution	ProComments If a woman wants to sell herself and a man wants to buy, that's a private matter between the woman and the man. Pimping is what should be illegal.
•	Medicaid & Medicare	ProComments Everyone deserves healthcare.
•	Medical Marijuana	ProComments As long as the therapeutic benefits are clinically proven. Otherwise just make it generally legal for recreational purposes and spare everyone the "medicinal" prefix.
•	Military Intervention	ConComments The military is for defending against imminent attack/invasion only. Not for taking over other countries for no good reason.
•	Minimum Wage	ProComments Every single person who works should receive a livable wage.
•	National Health Care	ProComments Everybody deserves access to quality healthcare.
•	National Retail Sales Tax	ProComments Only if it completely replaces the national income tax.

•	Progressive Tax	ConComments A progressive tax just punishes people for earning more. In a word, it's unfair.
•	Racial Profiling	ConComments Discrimination of any kind, for any purpose, is unacceptable.
•	Redistribution	ConComments If a person earns something, they are entitled to keep it.
