A Libertarian Society is not capable of producing positive outcomes for the majority of its citizens

First round is just to accept, no arguments. Libertarianism is a broad movement. I wouldn't want to bring someone into the debate and have all my opening arguments end up being straw-men or force someone to argue a type of libertarianism they don't support. I therefore invite the opposition to define libertarianism in the first round. Please be try to be thorough and perhaps link to relevant libertarian thinkers so we don't have to alter or expand the definition after the debate starts....

Demetrius Johnson could win the UFC Heavyweight title

Cain Velasquez is a great fighter, but, like most of the heavyweights, is another slow, lumbering giant. If he were ever to strike DJ, he'd crush him. Still, think of it: very few small, quick fighters can keep up with DJ; Cain could never catch him. It would be like Rocky and the chicken. That leaves DJ to stealthily score just one point in 25 minutes and you'll have a 125 lb. UFC Heavyweight of the world!...

Governments should not be allowed to borrow money

The topic is fairly self-explanatory: governments should not be allowed to run deficits and cover them by issuing debt/borrowing money. I will be arguing that they should not be allowed to, my opponent will argue that they should be allowed to. Suggested Format: Rd 1: Acceptance Rd 2: Pro states positive case, con rebuts. Rd 3: Pro counter-rebuts, con states positive case. Rd 4: Pro rebuts, con counter-rebuts....
