With the issues currently in the US, The representative from the Con side believes that this is an important issue to debate and discuss. The threat of Alabama and Georgia heartbeat bills pose an imminent threat on well-established court decisions such as Roe v. Wade, And bring an interesting light to the discussion, As it allows for the debate to turn from the hypothetical into the real world. The instigator believes that this is a step in the right direction and that abortion should be "safe, Legal, And rare, " as Hillary Clinton formerly thought. The instigator believes that only in the cases of rape, Incest, Or threat to the life of the mother should legislators allow abortion access to American women. The instigator challenges the contender to respond and bring forth their opening arguments.

Con

The thing about this debate is that Con's stance could differ. YOu could say that Con would be debating that abortion should not be legal at all, Or that it should be legal no matter if it is only in restricted cases or not.

Your point is valid. Now I see that there may be some misunderstanding. I am expecting the con side to hold a pro-stance on recreational abortions, Not cases of the extremes, As listed in the title. Now that we've cleared things up, May you present your opening statement?
